5. Operating Instructions
5.1. KT-T830 Tire Changer Operation
Follow these steps for safe and effective tire changing:
- Preparation: Ensure the tire and rim are clean and free of debris. Position the wheel on the turntable.
- Bead Breaking: Use the bead breaker to separate the tire bead from the rim. The double side assist arm and bead blast seater aid in this process.
- Tire Removal:
- Push the turntable pedal to rotate the table until the tire separates from the rim.
- To install the tire, place the lower part of the tire on the tail of the mounting head.
- Step on the pedal to install the tire on the rim.
- Repeat for the upper tread until the tire is fully installed.

Figure 3: Decentralized Demonstration of Usage Steps for KT-T830. This image illustrates the sequential steps for removing and installing a tire using the KATOOL KT-T830 tire changer, including pedal operation and mounting head usage.
- Inflation: Pump the tire to the recommended pressure using the inflation gauge with pedal control. The bead blaster function can be used for rapid inflation and seating the bead.
- Rim Protection: Utilize the jaw covers and plastic cover on the mounting head to protect the rim from damage during the process.
5.2. KT-B750 Wheel Balancer Operation
Follow these steps for accurate wheel balancing:
- Mounting the Wheel: Securely mount the wheel onto the balancer's shaft. The φ36mm shaft thread is designed for high strength.
- Inputting Data: Use the automatic measurement ruler to input the A and D values (distance and diameter) for the wheel.

Figure 8: Automatic Measurement Ruler for Input A and D Values. This image shows the integrated ruler on the wheel balancer, used for automatically measuring and inputting the wheel's distance (A) and diameter (D) values for precise balancing.
- Selecting Balance Mode: Choose the appropriate balance mode based on the rim type (various balance modes are available for different rim configurations).
- Spinning the Wheel: Close the wheel guard (if optional accessory is installed) and initiate the balancing cycle. The balancing speed is 180rpm.
- Applying Weights: The machine will display the required weight and its location. Use the laser indicator for precise placement at the 6 o'clock position.

Figure 9: Laser Indicator for 6 O'Clock Position. This image demonstrates the use of a laser indicator on the wheel balancer, which precisely points to the 6 o'clock position on the wheel for accurate weight placement during balancing.
- Verification: Re-spin the wheel to verify balance. The balancing accuracy is ±1g.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your KATOOL equipment.
- Daily: Clean the machines after each use, removing tire debris and dust. Inspect for any visible damage or loose connections.
- Weekly: Check air filter and lubricator on the tire changer. The high-quality filter and reliable drop oil system help prolong the pneumatic system's life.
- Monthly: Inspect all moving parts, including jaws, mounting head, and pedals, for wear. Lubricate as necessary.
- Periodically: Check the calibration of the wheel balancer. The built-in fault diagnosis and self-calibration program (double side calibration) can be utilized.
- Ensure the motor and pure copper winding are free from excessive dust to maintain fast heat dissipation.
- Keep the closed body of the tire changer intact to protect internal parts.
