Operating the Tonneau Cover
The tri-fold design allows for versatile access to your truck bed.
- Opening: To open the cover, simply pull the release cable located underneath the rear panel. This will disengage the latches. You can then fold the panel forward.
- Partial Access: Fold one or two panels forward to access specific areas of your truck bed. Nylon straps are provided to secure the cover in the 2/3 open position, allowing you to drive with it partially open.
- Full Access: To gain full access to your truck bed, fold all panels towards the cab. The cover can be secured upright against the cab using the integrated straps and buckles.
- Closing: To close, simply unfold the panels back towards the tailgate. The auto-latching system will secure the panels upon closure.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your tonneau cover, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Clean the aluminum panels with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the matte black finish.
- Seals: Periodically inspect all rubber seals for wear and tear. Ensure they are free of debris to maintain a watertight seal.
- Hardware: Regularly check all clamps, latches, and mounting hardware for tightness. Tighten as necessary to prevent movement and ensure security.
- Drainage Tubes: Ensure drainage tubes are clear of obstructions to allow proper water runoff.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your tonneau cover, consider the following:
- Water Leaks:
- Check the bulkhead seal at the front of the bed for proper adhesion and placement.
- Ensure all panels are fully latched and the tailgate is securely closed.
- Verify that drainage tubes are not clogged and are properly channeling water away.
- Inspect rubber seals along the edges of the panels for any damage or misalignment.
- Latching Issues:
- Ensure the mounting rails are securely clamped and properly aligned.
- Check the release cables for any kinks or obstructions that might prevent smooth operation.
- Verify that the auto-latching mechanism is free of debris and operating correctly.
- Panel Alignment:
- Confirm that the cover is centered and square on the truck bed. Adjust the mounting rails if necessary.
