1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AIKE AK1226 Automatic Liquid Soap Dispenser. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your new device. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and operation, and retain them for future reference.

The AIKE AK1226 is a non-contact, wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser designed for hygiene and convenience in various public and commercial environments. It features a large capacity and adjustable dispensing volume to suit different needs.

2. Product Overview and Features

The AIKE AK1226 dispenser is designed for ease of use and durability. Key features include:

  • Large Capacity: 1000ml reservoir, reducing the frequency of refills. One full refill can provide over 1,000 uses.
  • Adjustable Dispensing Volume: Offers 5 levels of liquid output, ranging from 0.5ml to 2.5ml per dispense. This allows customization based on user preference and soap type.
  • Non-Contact Operation: Infrared sensor ensures hygienic, touch-free dispensing, minimizing cross-contamination.
  • Durable Construction: Made from robust ABS material with an IPX4 waterproof rating, suitable for humid environments.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your AIKE AK1226 dispenser:

  1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Clean and thoroughly dry the wall surface where the dispenser will be installed. Ensure it is smooth and free from dust or grease.
  2. Attach Mounting Plate: Use the provided double-sided tape or screws to securely attach the mounting plate to the wall. If using tape, press firmly to remove air bubbles. Ensure the 'UP' arrow on the plate points upwards.
  3. Mount the Dispenser: Carefully hang the main dispenser unit onto the installed mounting plate.
  4. Open Front Cover: Use the provided key to unlock and open the front cover of the dispenser.
  5. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment. Insert 4 new AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
  6. Refill Liquid Soap: Open the top lid of the reservoir. Pour liquid soap into the 1000ml tank. Do not overfill.
  7. Close and Secure: Close the top lid and the front cover. Lock the front cover with the key.
  8. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the dispenser.

Installation Distance Guidelines:

To ensure optimal sensor performance and prevent accidental dispensing, observe the following distances:

  • Maintain a minimum distance of 25 cm (9.8 inches) between the dispenser's sensor and the countertop or any object below it.
  • If installing above a highly reflective surface (e.g., stainless steel sink), increase the distance to a minimum of 35 cm (13.8 inches) to avoid sensor interference.

4. Operation

Dispensing Soap:

Once installed and filled, simply place your hand under the dispensing nozzle. The infrared sensor will detect your hand and automatically dispense the set amount of liquid soap.

Adjusting Dispensing Volume:

The dispenser offers 5 levels of liquid output. To adjust the volume:

  1. Locate the setting button (often combined with the power button or a separate small button).
  2. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume settings. Each press will typically indicate a change in volume (e.g., via an LED flash or a small dispense).
  3. Select the desired volume. The dispenser will remember this setting.

5. Maintenance

Refilling Soap:

When the liquid level in the transparent window is low, it's time to refill. Use the key to unlock the front cover, open the top lid, and pour in liquid soap. Close and lock the covers after refilling.

Battery Replacement:

The LED indicator will flash when the battery level is low, signaling that replacement is needed. To replace batteries:

  1. Unlock and open the front cover.
  2. Remove the battery box.
  3. Replace the old AAA batteries with 4 new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Reinsert the battery box, close the front cover, and lock it.

Cleaning:

Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the sensor area is kept clean for optimal performance.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your dispenser, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions:
