4. Setup

4.1 Pairing the Microphones

The BOYAMIC system is designed for automatic pairing. Simply power on the receiver (RX) and then hold the power button on each transmitter (TX) for approximately 5 seconds. The units will automatically pair, indicated by a stable blue light on the transmitters and a connection icon on the receiver's OLED display.

4.3 Using External Lavalier Microphones

Each transmitter has a 3.5mm TRS input, allowing you to connect the included external lavalier microphones. This provides flexibility for discreet placement or specific recording scenarios. The magnetic clip on the transmitter allows for easy attachment to clothing, even when using the external mic.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Onboard Recording

The BOYAMIC transmitters feature 8GB of internal memory, allowing for up to 15 hours of onboard recording. This provides a reliable backup in case of wireless interference or signal drops. To start recording, simply press the 'REC' button on the transmitter. Recorded files can be transferred to a computer via the USB-C port.

5.2 Noise Cancellation

Activate the one-click noise cancellation feature by pressing the 'NR' button on the transmitter. This utilizes advanced DSP, ANC, and AI triple noise-cancellation technology to effectively reduce up to 90% of unwanted background noise, ensuring clear and uninterrupted audio.

5.3 Output Modes

The receiver supports versatile recording with three output modes, selectable via the menu on the OLED display:

5.5 Battery Life & Charging

The transmitters offer up to 10 hours of operating time (approximately 6 hours with onboard recording enabled). The charging case extends the total battery life to up to 50 hours. Transmitters and receiver charge fully in 1.5 hours, while the charging case takes 2.5 hours. The charging case can fully charge two transmitters and one receiver 1.2 times.
