2. Product Overview

3. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or labels.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stove, furnace, radiator). Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Wipe the ice basket and water reservoir with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- First Use: For the first three cycles of ice production, discard the ice cubes. This ensures any residual manufacturing odors or particles are flushed out, preparing the unit for safe use.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your EUHOMY Ice Maker:
- Add Water: Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.
- Power On: Close the lid and plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the ice making cycle. The 'POWER' indicator light will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice. Each cycle takes approximately 6 minutes to produce 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes. The unit can produce up to 12 kg of ice in 24 hours.
- Ice Cube Size: The ice maker produces bullet-shaped ice cubes. There are typically two sizes available: Small (S) and Large (L). Refer to the control panel or manual for specific instructions on how to select the desired size, if applicable to your model.
- Indicators:
- 'ADD WATER' Indicator: If this light illuminates, it means the water level in the reservoir is too low. Add more water and the ice maker will automatically resume operation.
- 'ICE FULL' Indicator: This light indicates that the ice basket is full. The ice maker will pause operation until some ice is removed. Once ice is removed, the unit will automatically resume.
- Removing Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.
- Power Off: To stop the ice maker, press the 'ON/OFF' button. Unplug the unit when not in use for extended periods.



5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.
5.1 Automatic Self-Cleaning Function
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for 5 seconds. The self-cleaning program will start and run for approximately 30 minutes.
- Once the cleaning cycle is complete, unplug the unit.
- Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the unit to drain the dirty water.
- Replace the drain plug securely.

5.2 Manual Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the ice maker with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior: For thorough cleaning, remove the ice basket. Drain any remaining water from the reservoir using the drain plug. Clean the interior surfaces, including the water reservoir, with a soft cloth and a solution of warm water and vinegar or a mild, food-safe detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Ice Basket and Scoop: Wash the ice basket and scoop in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry completely before placing them back into the unit.
- Storage: If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry. Leave the lid slightly ajar to allow for air circulation and prevent mold or mildew growth.
