Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.
1. Cleaning the Lint Filter
The lint filter should be cleaned after every few washes or when you notice reduced drainage efficiency. Remove the filter, clean out any accumulated lint and debris, and rinse it under running water. Reinstall the filter securely.
2. Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
Periodically remove and clean the detergent dispenser to prevent residue buildup. Rinse it thoroughly and ensure all compartments are clear before reinserting.
3. Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
4. Interior Drum Cleaning
Run an 'Air Dry' cycle or a 'Single Wash' cycle with hot water and a washing machine cleaner (or a cup of white vinegar) periodically to clean the inner drum and prevent odors.
5. Winterization (for cold climates)
If the machine is stored in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, drain all water from the hoses and pump to prevent damage from freezing. Disconnect water inlet hoses and allow them to drain completely.
