3. Operating Instructions
Your SIHOO M102C chair offers several adjustment options to optimize your comfort and support.
Video 2: SIHOO M102C Ergonomics Office Chair Adjustments. This video demonstrates how to adjust the chair's height, recline, armrests, lumbar support, and headrest.
Adjustments:
- Chair Height Adjustment:
Pull the handle located under the seat upwards to adjust the chair's height. Release the handle at the desired height to lock it in place.
- Recline Function:
Pull out the handle under the seat to activate the chair's recline function. The chair can recline up to 130 degrees. Push the handle back in to lock the recline position.
Figure 6: Illustration of the chair's recline capability, showing a user relaxing in a tilted position.
To adjust the recline tension, turn the mechanism knob located under the seat. Turn clockwise for more tension (harder to recline) and counter-clockwise for less tension (easier to recline).
- Lumbar Support Adjustment:
Rotate the lumbar support knob on the backrest to adjust the lumbar support up and down. Tighten the knob once adjusted to a suitable position for your lower back.
Figure 7: Diagram illustrating the 3D separated adjustable lumbar support and its effect on spinal alignment.
- Armrest Adjustment:
The 3D armrests can move forward-backward, rotate laterally, and flip up. Adjust them to provide optimal forearm and elbow bracing. Flip them up to store the chair under a desk and save space.
- Headrest Adjustment:
The headrest can be adjusted up and down and rotated to provide comfortable support for your neck and head.
4. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and performance of your SIHOO M102C chair.
- Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the materials.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Caster Care: Keep the casters free of debris (hair, dust, etc.) to ensure smooth rolling.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SIHOO M102C chair, refer to the following common solutions:
- Chair is Squeaking:
Squeaking often indicates loose connections. Check and tighten all assembly screws, especially those connecting the seat, backrest, and mechanism. Applying a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts (like the gas lift or recline mechanism) can also help.
- Chair Not Adjusting Height:
Ensure the gas lift lever is fully engaged when attempting to adjust height. If the issue persists, the gas lift cylinder may need replacement. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Chair Feels Unstable/Wobbly:
Verify that all screws are securely tightened, particularly those on the base and where the mechanism attaches to the seat. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
- Armrests are Loose:
Check the screws connecting the armrests to the backrest and seat. Tighten them using the hex wrench provided during assembly.
