1. Setup

1.1 Unboxing and Placement

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials and tape.
  • Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  • Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

1.2 Initial Cleaning

  • Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Ensure the water tank and ice basket are dry before adding water.

1.3 Water Filling

Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill. For best results, use filtered water.

1.4 Power Connection

Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn the unit on or off.

2.2 Selecting Ice Cube Size

Press the "SELECT" button to choose between small (S) or large (L) ice cubes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

2.3 Ice Making Cycle

  • Once powered on and an ice size is selected, the ice maker will begin its cycle. The first batch of ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6-13 minutes.
  • The unit can produce up to 26 pounds of ice in 24 hours.

2.4 Indicator Lights

  • ADD WATER: This red indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir needs refilling.
  • ICE FULL: This red indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the ice making process will pause automatically. Remove ice to resume operation.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The FZF ice maker features a convenient self-cleaning function. To activate, press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds. The unit will perform an automatic cleaning cycle.

3.2 Draining Excess Water

To drain excess water from the reservoir, locate the drain plug at the bottom of the unit. Remove the plug to allow water to flow out. Ensure the unit is unplugged before draining.

3.3 Regular Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the ice basket and water reservoir to prevent mineral buildup and ensure hygienic ice production.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
