4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Real-Time Data Monitoring
After a successful connection, the Solar Guardian app will automatically read and display real-time parameters of your solar system. This includes PV voltage, PV current, PV power, battery voltage, battery current, battery SOC (State of Charge), battery temperature, and load information (voltage, current, power, status).
4.2 Parameter Settings
The app allows you to view and modify various parameters of your EPEVER controller. This includes:
- Battery Parameter Settings: Adjust battery capacity, temperature compensation, bulk charge time, equalize charging time, and other battery-specific settings. Note: The system automatically reads parameters. If you need to modify, select 'Rated voltage' as 12V/24V and 'Battery Type' as 'User'.
- Load Configuration: Set the load control mode (e.g., Manually Setting, Load pure light control, Load pure light control + Timer, Timing Control). It is recommended to select 'Manually Setting'.
- Device Parameter Settings: Manually parameterize device-specific settings like backlight timeout, internal temperature limits, and device time.
- Basic Parameter Settings: Options to return to default settings or clear accumulated energy data.
Always ensure that any modified parameters align with the recommendations of your battery manufacturer to prevent damage or reduced performance.
