1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

The clock requires a 5V/1A AC adapter for power (sold separately). A 3-meter USB power cable is included. The built-in super capacitor is for time memory during power outages only and is not intended for continuous power supply.

3.2 Desktop Installation

Attach the provided desktop stand to the back of the clock for stable placement on any flat surface.

3.3 Wall Mounting

Use the included installation guide and hardware (screws, plastic anchors, adhesive hooks) to securely mount the clock on a wall. Ensure the mounting surface is suitable and the hardware is firmly installed to prevent the clock from falling.

3.4 Remote Control Setup

Before first use, remove the transparent battery insulation sheet from the bottom of the remote control. The remote control uses a CR2025 button battery (included).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Time, Date, and Year Setting

Use the remote control to set the time, date, and year. Refer to the remote control diagram for button functions.

4.2 12/24 Hour Mode

Short press the 'UP' arrow button (▲) on the remote control to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats.

4.3 Colon Flashing On/Off

Press the right arrow button (▶) on the remote control to toggle the flashing of the colon between the hour and minute digits.

4.4 Alarm Setting

The digital clock allows for easy alarm time setting via the remote control. The alarm features a snooze mode: the alarm sounds for 1 minute, followed by a 5-minute snooze period (up to 3 times). Ensure the alarm time and 12-hour/24-hour format settings are correctly configured.

4.5 Brightness Adjustment

The clock offers an 8-level automatic dimming function that adapts to ambient light. You can also manually adjust the brightness in 3 levels (bright, slightly dark, dark) or turn it OFF using the 'BRIGHT' button on the remote control.

4.6 Temperature Display

The clock displays the current temperature. Short press the left arrow button (◀) on the remote control to cycle through date, time, or temperature display. Then, press the 'TEMP' button to switch the temperature unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

4.7 Loop Display

The clock can cycle through displaying the time, date, and temperature. Use the remote control to configure this loop display setting.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Flickering, Glitching, or Humming

If the power adapter is unstable or incompatible, it may not supply sufficient current, preventing normal operation. Please replace it with a 5V/1A adapter that meets specifications from a reputable manufacturer.

5.2 Remote Control Not Working

1. Ensure the transparent battery insulation sheet has been removed from the bottom of the remote control.
2. When operating the remote control, point it towards the infrared sensor located at the bottom of the clock. Avoid any obstructions that may interfere with infrared reception. The effective range is approximately 3.5 meters.

5.3 Alarm Not Sounding

Please verify both the alarm time setting and the time format setting (12-hour or 24-hour format). For 12-hour format, ensure AM/PM is correctly set (e.g., am12:00 to pm11:00). For 24-hour format, ensure the time is within 0:00 to 23:00.
