1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BODEGACOOLER Wine and Beverage Refrigerator. This appliance is designed to provide optimal storage conditions for both your wine collection and various beverages, featuring independent dual-zone temperature control and a versatile design for built-in or freestanding installation.

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your new refrigerator. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not allow children to climb, stand, or hang on the shelves or doors of the refrigerator.
  • Do not clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
  • Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
  • Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning or making any repairs.
  • Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
  • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  • This appliance uses R600a refrigerant, which is flammable. Handle with care.
  • The appliance is equipped with a lock and keys. Keep keys out of reach of children.

3. Setup and Installation

Your BODEGACOOLER is designed for both under-counter built-in installation and freestanding use. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.

3.1 Unpacking

  • Remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape.
  • Inspect the appliance for any damage. Report any damage to your dealer immediately.
  • Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluids to settle.

3.2 Location Requirements

  • Place the refrigerator on a flat, solid surface strong enough to support it when fully loaded.
  • Avoid placing the appliance in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., stoves, heaters, radiators).
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. For freestanding installation, allow at least 2 inches of space on the sides and back. For built-in installation, ensure the front ventilation grilles are unobstructed.
  • The unit measures 29.7"W x 34.2"H x 22.8"D. Ensure your space accommodates these dimensions.

3.3 Leveling the Appliance

  • Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the appliance to ensure it is perfectly level. This is important for proper door alignment and efficient cooling.

3.4 Electrical Connection

  • Plug the appliance into a dedicated, grounded 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

4. Operating Instructions

Your BODEGACOOLER features independent dual-zone temperature control, allowing you to store wines and beverages at their ideal temperatures.

4.1 Control Panel

The intuitive LED touchscreen control panel is located at the top of the interior for easy access and temperature adjustment.

4.2 Temperature Settings

  • Wine Zone (Left): Temperature range from 41°F to 68°F (5°C to 20°C). Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust.
  • Beverage Zone (Right): Temperature range from 35.6°F to 50°F (2°C to 10°C). Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust.
  • Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display.

4.3 Interior Lighting

  • Press the light bulb icon on the control panel to turn the interior LED lighting on or off.

4.4 Shelving and Capacity

  • The wine zone features 9 adjustable beech shelves, accommodating up to 31 standard 750ml bottles.
  • The beverage zone can hold up to 92 standard 12oz cans.
  • Shelves are removable to adjust for different bottle or can sizes.

4.5 Door Lock

  • The appliance includes a lock and keys for securing contents. Insert the key into the lock located at the bottom of the door and turn to lock or unlock.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your BODEGACOOLER.

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Wash the interior surfaces and removable shelves with a mild detergent and warm water solution.
  • Wipe dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Clean the exterior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  • For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish.

5.3 Activated Carbon Filtration System

  • The built-in activated charcoal filtration system helps eliminate odors. Replace the filter periodically as recommended by the manufacturer (refer to product packaging or BODEGA support for replacement intervals).

5.4 Power Outage

  • In case of a power outage, keep the refrigerator doors closed to maintain internal temperature for as long as possible.
