1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Dreamflame 42-inch Electric Fireplace. Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Retain this manual for future reference.

The Dreamflame electric fireplace offers both wall-mounted and recessed installation options, featuring a multicolor flame display with adjustable intensity, remote control, thermostat, timer, and overheating protection. It operates at 750W or 1500W, providing supplemental heat for areas up to 400 sq ft.

2. Safety Information

Important Safety Instructions:

• Read all instructions before using this fireplace.
• This appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• To disconnect the heater, turn controls to off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• This fireplace has a built-in overheating protection feature. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off.

3. Setup and Installation

Your Dreamflame electric fireplace offers versatile installation options: recessed into a wall or wall-mounted. Ensure to confirm the insert size for recessed installations as indicated in the product dimensions.

3.1 Installation Options

• Recessed Installation: The fireplace can be inserted directly into a wall opening. Refer to the provided manual for precise cutout dimensions.
• Wall-Mounted Installation: A hanging board is included with the fireplace for easy wall mounting.

3.2 Power Connection

• The fireplace can be connected via hardwire or a 6 ft plug-in cable. Consult a qualified electrician for hardwired installations.

Your Dreamflame electric fireplace offers multiple control methods for convenience and flexibility.

4.1 Control Methods

• Remote Control: Use the included LCD remote control to adjust settings.
• Touchscreen Panel: The fireplace features a touchscreen panel for direct control.
• Smart App Control: Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing control via a mobile application.

4.2 Flame Settings

• Flame Colors: Choose from 3 realistic flame colors (Yellow, Mix Color, Blue).
• Flame Intensity: Adjust flame brightness with 5 intensity settings.
• Ember Bed Media: Customize the look with 3 types of ember bed media (Logset, Logs, Crystals) for free combination.

4.3 Heat Settings

• Power Output: Select between 750W and 1500W (5100 BTU) heat settings.
• Thermostat: Adjust the temperature from 62°F to 86°F (15 gears).
• Timer: Set the operating timer from 1 to 9 hours.
• Fan Mode: Operate with the fan only (no heater) for year-round ambiance.

• Air Vents: Keep the air intake and exhaust vents clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
• Light Bulbs: The LED flame effect uses long-lasting LED technology and typically does not require bulb replacement.
