1. Important Safety Information

4. Installation

4.1 Choosing an Installation Method

The Dreamflame Electric Fireplace offers versatile installation options: wall-mounted or recessed. Select the method that best suits your space and aesthetic preferences.

4.2 Wall-Mounted Installation

For wall-mounted installation, use the provided hanging bracket. Ensure the wall is structurally sound to support the weight of the fireplace. Mark and drill pilot holes according to the bracket's specifications, then secure the bracket to the wall studs. Carefully lift and hang the fireplace unit onto the secured bracket.

4.3 Recessed Installation

When recessing the fireplace into a wall, it is crucial to confirm the insert size. Refer to the provided dimensions (36"W x 21.6"H with a depth of 5.95") and the framing hole size reference (W: 31.7"~32.1", H: 20.5", D: 6") to ensure a proper fit. Construct a sturdy frame within the wall to accommodate the fireplace unit. Ensure adequate ventilation space around the unit as specified in the detailed manual.

5. Operation

The fireplace can be operated using the included remote control or the touchscreen panel on the unit.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

The remote control provides convenient access to all fireplace features:

• Power (ON/OFF): Turns the unit on or off.
• Temperature: Adjusts the thermostat setting (62°F-86°F).
• Timer: Sets the automatic shut-off timer (1-9 hours).
• Heat Setting: Selects between 750W (Low) and 1500W (High) heat output.
• Flame Color Switch: Cycles through 3 flame colors.
• Dimmer: Adjusts flame intensity with 5 brightness levels.

5.2 Flame Effects and Ember Bed

Customize the visual ambiance with multiple flame modes and ember bed options:

• Flame Colors: Choose from 3 distinct flame colors.
• Flame Intensities: Adjust the brightness of the flames across 5 levels.
• Ember Bed Media: The fireplace includes both a log set and crystals, allowing you to select your preferred ember bed appearance.

5.3 Heating Function

The electric fireplace provides supplemental heating for areas up to 400 sq ft. The heater operates at two power levels: 750W (low) and 1500W (high), delivering up to 5100 BTU. The thermostat allows temperature settings from 62°F to 86°F.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your fireplace.

• Cleaning: Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
• Ventilation: Periodically check that the air intake and outlet vents are free from dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.
• Light Bulbs: The flame effect uses LED technology, which typically does not require replacement.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fireplace, consult the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power: Check if the unit is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. Verify the circuit breaker.
• Heater Not Working: Ensure the heat function is activated via remote or touchscreen. Check the thermostat setting; if the room temperature is above the set temperature, the heater will not activate.
• Flame Effect Not Working: Confirm the flame effect is turned on. Adjust brightness settings.
• Unit Shuts Off Automatically: This indicates the overheating protection has activated. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes, and check for any blocked vents before restarting.
• Remote Control Not Responding: Replace the batteries (2 AAA batteries required). Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace sensor.
