1. Introduction

The Reolink TrackMix LTE+Solar Panel is an advanced 4K 4G solar-powered security camera designed for outdoor surveillance in areas without Wi-Fi access. It features a unique dual-lens system providing both wide-angle and telephoto views simultaneously, along with 6X hybrid zoom. Its 3600 pan and tilt capabilities, combined with auto-tracking and AI detection for people, vehicles, and pets, ensure comprehensive monitoring. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your camera.

4. Setup

4.1 SIM Card Installation

The camera requires a 4G LTE SIM card for cellular connectivity. Ensure the SIM card is activated with a data plan from a compatible carrier (O2, EE, T, Vodafone in the UK - prepaid SIM card ONLY). Wi-Fi is not supported.

1. Open the SIM card slot cover on the camera.
2. Insert the Reolink SIM card (or your activated SIM card) into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly.
3. Close the SIM card slot cover securely to ensure waterproof sealing.

4.2 Initial Activation and App Setup

Follow these steps to activate your SIM card and set up the camera using the Reolink App:

1. Download the Reolink App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
2. Access Reolink Cloud via the app or web service.
3. Follow the in-app guidance to activate your SIM card.
4. Power on the camera by connecting the solar panel or using the Type C charging cable.
5. Add the camera to the Reolink App by scanning the QR code on the camera or manually entering its UID.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including setting a password and configuring basic settings.

4.3 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel

Choose a location with good 4G signal strength and ample sunlight for the solar panel. Use the provided mounting template and screws for secure installation.

• Mount the camera at a height that provides optimal viewing angle and detection range.
• Position the solar panel to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
• Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Live View and Playback

Access the Reolink App to view live footage from your camera. You can also review recorded events from the SD card or cloud storage.

5.2 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control

Use the PTZ controls within the Reolink App to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 3550 horizontal pan and 900 vertical tilt. Enable auto-tracking to have the camera automatically follow detected motion.

5.3 Smart Detection and Alerts

Configure detection settings in the app to specify what types of motion trigger alerts (people, vehicles, pets). Customize alert methods, including push notifications, email alerts, and siren activation.

5.4 Two-Way Audio

Utilize the two-way audio feature through the Reolink App to listen to the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera's built-in speaker.

5.5 Storage Management

Manage your recordings via the Reolink App. You can view, download, and delete footage stored on the microSD card or in the Reolink Cloud.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Firmware Updates: Check for and install firmware updates via the Reolink App to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
• Battery Health: Monitor the battery level in the app. Ensure the solar panel is receiving adequate sunlight for continuous charging.
• SIM Card Data: Keep track of your SIM card data usage to avoid service interruptions.

7. Troubleshooting

• Camera Not Connecting to 4G:
  • Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated with a data plan.
  • Check 4G signal strength in the camera's location via the app.
  • Verify that your carrier is supported (O2, EE, T, Vodafone in the UK).
  • Restart the camera by powering it off and on.
• Battery Not Charging:
  • Ensure the solar panel cable is securely connected to the camera.
  • Verify the solar panel is positioned to receive direct sunlight and is not obstructed.
  • Clean the solar panel surface if dirty.
• Motion Detection Issues:
  • Adjust detection sensitivity in the app.
  • Ensure detection zones are correctly configured.
  • Check for obstructions in the camera's field of view.
• Poor Video Quality:
  • Ensure the camera lens is clean.
  • Check 4G signal strength, as weak signal can affect streaming quality.
  • Adjust video resolution settings in the app if necessary.
