Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions:

• Use only dry kibble between 0.07 to 0.4 inches (2-10mm) to prevent clogging.
• Do not use wet food or freeze-dried food that is not kibble-sized.
• Ensure the desiccant bag is replaced regularly to maintain food freshness.
• Keep the feeder on a stable, level surface.
• Do not immerse the main unit in water. Detachable parts are washable.
• For uninterrupted operation, use both the power adapter and D-size batteries.

Setup

1. Assemble the Feeder:

   Attach the stainless steel bowl to the main unit. The bowl slides onto the pegs located at the base of the feeder.

2. Power Supply:

   Connect the power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. For backup power, insert 3xD-size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. It is recommended to use both power sources for uninterrupted operation.

3. Fill the Food Tank:

   Open the lid by twisting it counter-clockwise. Pour dry kibble into the transparent food tank. Ensure kibble size is between 2-10mm. Place the desiccant bag into its compartment in the lid to keep food fresh, then secure the lid by twisting clockwise.

4. Set Current Time:

   The display screen will light up once powered. To unlock the screen, press and hold the unlock button (padlock icon) for 3 seconds until it beeps. Then, press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds. The hour will blink. Use the up/down arrows to adjust the hour (and AM/PM). Press "SET" to confirm the hour, then adjust minutes similarly. Press "SET" again to save and lock the time.

Operating Instructions

1. Program Feeding Schedule:

   Unlock the screen (hold unlock button for 3 seconds). Press "SET" once. The meal number (M1, M2, etc.) will blink. Use up/down arrows to select the number of meals per day (up to 6). Press "SET" to confirm.

2. Set Meal Times and Portions:

   For each meal (M1, M2, etc.), the hour will blink. Adjust the hour and AM/PM using the up/down arrows. Press "SET" to confirm. Then, adjust the minutes. Press "SET" to confirm. Finally, adjust the portion count (P) for that meal using the up/down arrows (1-20 portions). Each portion is approximately 6g. Press "SET" to save the settings for that meal and move to the next meal or lock the screen.

3. Manual Feeding:

   To dispense food manually, ensure the screen is unlocked. Press the "FEED" button (down arrow) once. This will dispense one portion of food. You can press it multiple times for more portions.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder.

1. Disassembly:

   Unplug the feeder. Remove the food tank by twisting and lifting. Detach the stainless steel bowl from its base. The bowl can be separated from its black plastic holder for thorough cleaning.

2. Cleaning:

   Wash the food tank, lid, and stainless steel bowl with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly. The main unit should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
3. Desiccant Bag Replacement:

   Replace the desiccant bag every 2-4 weeks, or as needed, to maintain food freshness.
