Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation

The RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer requires two AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

  3. Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries, observing the (+) and (-) markings.

2. Connecting the Timer to the Faucet

The timer features a 3/4" brass inlet that fits standard garden hose threads.

  1. Ensure the faucet is turned off.
  2. Thread the brass inlet of the timer onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten until secure. Do not overtighten.
  3. Connect your garden hose to the outlet at the bottom of the timer. Hand-tighten until secure.

3. Setting the Current Time (SET CLOCK)

Before programming, set the current time on the timer.

  1. Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
  2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour. Press OK to confirm.

2. Manual Watering

To water immediately without affecting your programmed schedule:

  1. Ensure the dial is set to ON.
  2. Press the MANUAL button. The display will show a default manual watering duration.
  3. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the manual watering duration from 1 minute to 8 hours.
  4. Press OK to start manual watering. The timer will count down the set duration.
  5. To stop manual watering early, press MANUAL again or turn the dial to OFF.

3. Rain Delay Function

To pause your automatic watering schedule due to rain or other reasons:

  2. Press the DELAY button. The display will show a default delay period (e.g., 24H).

4. Turning Off the Timer

To stop all watering and programming, turn the dial to OFF.
