3.2 App Download and Account Creation

To operate the doorbell, you need to download the dedicated mobile application. Search for the app name (usually indicated on the product packaging or a QR code in the manual) in your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.

3.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The doorbell does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  2. Open the app and follow the prompts to add a new device.
  3. Power on the doorbell. It will enter pairing mode (indicated by a specific light pattern or voice prompt).
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password into the app.
  5. The app will generate a QR code. Position your phone's screen in front of the doorbell camera at a distance of 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) until you hear a confirmation sound from the doorbell.
  6. Once connected, the doorbell's indicator light will change, and the app will confirm successful pairing.

3.4 Chime Setup

Plug the wireless chime unit into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port. The chime will automatically pair with the doorbell when both are powered on and within range. You can typically select different chime melodies via a button on the chime unit.

3.5 Mounting the Doorbell

Choose a suitable location near your front door, ensuring a clear view and good Wi-Fi signal strength.

  • Adhesive Mounting: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Apply the adhesive tape to the back of the doorbell's mounting bracket and firmly press it onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.
  • Screw Mounting: Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes. Drill holes, insert wall anchors (if necessary), and secure the bracket with the provided screws.
