Safety Instructions
General
- This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
- Use the product only for the intended purpose.
- Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
Battery
Warning - rechargeable battery
- Only use suitable charging devices or USB ports to charge the product.
- Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
- Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
- Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).
- When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months).
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
- Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.
- The battery is integrated and cannot be removed.
- Do not incinerate the battery or the product.
- Do not tamper with or damage/heat/disassemble the batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Power Supply Unit
Risk of electric shock
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Do not use the product if the AC adapter, the adapter cable or the mains cable are damaged.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
Warning
- Only operate the product from an approved socket that is connected to the public power supply. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
- Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch – if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
- If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the socket strip's maximum throughput rating.
- If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
- The product is intended only for use inside buildings.
- Do not use the product in a damp environment and avoid splashing water.
- Do not bend or crush the cable.

Waterproof Properties
Note - Waterproof properties
- With IP65, the doorbell is sufficiently protected against water and can also be used in the rain. IP65 offers protection against water jets from any angle. Be aware that, on contact with water, all ports must be sealed.
- Carefully seal the USB port after the charging process to ensure that the product is waterproof.

- Do not mount the product above locations where persons might sit or stand.
- Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen is suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
- Pay attention to the applicable data protection regulations before installing and using the product.
- Respect the personal and property rights of others. Do not make recordings of other people with the camera.
- Observe the right to one's own image and spoken word when recording.
- If you are unsure about connecting the product to the mains supply, please contact a qualified electrician.

Installation

Battery Operation
- Mount the bracket in a suitable place.
- Connect the USB charging cable included to the charging port on the doorbell and a suitable mains socket. Fully charge the doorbell.
- Place the doorbell in the bracket and secure it with the screw.
Mains Operation (Optional)
- Feed the AC power supply cables (AC 12V-24V) through the rectangular opening in the bracket and mount it in a suitable place.
- Connect the cables as shown (see wiring diagram A).
- Place the doorbell in the bracket and secure it with the screw.
Start-up and Operation
Download the App
- Download the Hama Smart Home (Solution) app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the Hama Smart Home (Solution) APP.
- The first time you use the app, you need to register and create a new account. If you already have an account, log in with your access details.
- Follow the instructions in the app.

Door Chime Pairing
- Press the Reset button (3) on the door chime to connect it to the doorbell.
- The LED (2) on the door chime starts to flash.
- Then press the bell button (5) on the doorbell.
- The door chime is now connected to the doorbell and the LED (2) lights up permanently.
Adjusting Volume or Ring Tone
- Navigate in the APP to the "Ring settings" tab.
- Set the desired volume and desired door chime.
- Press the Reset button (3) on the door chime.
- The LED (2) on the door chime starts to flash.
- Press the bell button (5).
- The settings are transferred.
Note: To ensure ringing of the mobile phone, this must not be set to silent / vibrate.
Pairing Restart
Note: Pairing restart
- First remove the rubber protector on the back of the door chime. Now press the Reset button with a needle or another thin object until a signal sound is heard. As soon as the LED starts to flash red, you can start a further pairing attempt.
Integrating Devices into the Hama Smart Home App
- Connect the door bell as described in Section 5 to a power source.
- The LED on the doorbell starts to flash quickly. If it does not, press and hold the Reset button (8) on the doorbell for around 5 seconds.
- Open the app and sign in.
- Press the "+" in the top right-hand corner to add a new device.

- Choose Doorbells in the list.
- Confirm that the doorbell's LED is flashing quickly by ticking "Next step" and clicking on "Next". Ensure that the "QR code" is at the top right.
- Enter your WiFi password and confirm with "NEXT".
- Scan the QR code with the camera from a distance of approx. 15 - 20 cm.
- As soon as you hear a signal sound, click "Signal sound heard".
- Your doorbell is now connected.

- Click Finish to end the process.
- You can now operate and configure the doorbell.
Setting Options
The following settings can be made in the app:

- 1 Zooms the camera image to the screen size of the mobile phone.
- 2 Screen photo of the camera: Take a picture of the current live recording here.
- 3 Intercom function:
- One-way audio: You can speak, but you will not be able to hear the other party.
- Two-way audio: Both parties are able to speak and hear each other. - 4 Starts video recording: Record a video recording of the current activities. (A cloud connection or the presence of a memory card is required in this instance.)
- 5 Opens the Settings field.
- 6 Playback: Play back video recordings from your gallery.
- 7 Gallery: Saves a screen shot or video recordings.
- 8 Theme colour: Change the background colour; black or white.
- 9 Night mode: Setting to "On", "Off" or "Auto".
- 10 PIR: Setting motion detection.
- 11 Edit: Edit the rapid access.
- 12 Opens all messages.
- 13 Opens or activates cloud storage.
For extended usage options, scenarios can be created in the app. (See Section 9 and App Guide)
Extended Usage Options with Scenarios
Scenarios and automated sequences that can be created in the app allow various combination options and usage options for these products, depending on the SmartHome products in your home. Programming is always via the app (see Section 7 of the App Guide) and will be offered / suggested to you on an individual basis.

Care and Maintenance
Note
- Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.
- Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
- Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
