1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

• Do not operate continuously for more than 60 seconds. Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 1 minute between cycles.

4. Setup

Before using your Cecotec Titanmill 400 for the first time:

1. Unpack the grinder and remove all packaging materials.
2. Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth.
3. Clean the grinding bowl and lid with a damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before use. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
4. Place the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your coffee and spice grinder:

1. Prepare Ingredients: Ensure the grinder is unplugged. Remove the transparent lid. Add your desired amount of coffee beans or spices to the grinding bowl. Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 70 grams.

2. Secure the Lid: Place the transparent lid firmly onto the grinding bowl. The grinder will not operate unless the lid is correctly and securely in place, activating the safety mechanism.
3. Plug In: Plug the grinder into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Start Grinding: Press down on the transparent lid to activate the grinding mechanism. Hold the lid down for the desired grinding time.

5. Monitor Grinding: Use the transparent lid to observe the consistency of your grind. For a coarser grind, grind for a shorter duration. For a finer grind, grind for a longer duration. Do not operate continuously for more than 60 seconds.
6. Finish Grinding: Release pressure from the lid to stop the grinding process. Unplug the grinder from the outlet.
7. Remove Ground Ingredients: Carefully remove the transparent lid. Pour out the ground coffee or spices.

Important: Allow the grinder to cool down for at least 1 minute between grinding cycles to prevent overheating.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your grinder.

1. Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Grinding Bowl and Blades: Use a small brush (not included) or a dry cloth to remove any remaining ground particles from the grinding bowl and around the blades. Be careful as the blades are sharp.
3. Lid: The transparent lid can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and then dried thoroughly.
4. Motor Unit: Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
5. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.
