Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions thoroughly before use. Keep this manual for future reference.
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards.
- The appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep it and its power cable out of their reach.
- Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children.
- Regularly check the power cable for visible damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec, after-sales service, or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- WARNING: Incorrect or improper use can be dangerous for both the device and the user. Use only for purposes described in this manual.
- Be careful with the blades when emptying and cleaning the product; they are very sharp.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use, during cleaning, or before disassembling/assembling. Allow it to cool down completely before handling parts or cleaning.
- Switch off and unplug before changing accessories or moving parts.
- Ensure mains voltage matches the rating label and the plug is earthed.
- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces and worktop edges.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- Use only accessories provided or recommended by Cecotec.
- Do not connect if not correctly and safely assembled.
- Do not exceed the MAX mark.
- This device is only suitable for grinding coffee beans. Do not use for other food types.
- To avoid motor overheating, do not use the grindstone system for more than one minute at a time.
- Rest the device for one minute after two consecutive uses. Do not perform more than two cycles at a time.
- Do not move the appliance during operation.

2. Before Use
This appliance is packaged to protect it during transport. Remove the device from its box and all packaging materials. Keep the original box and packaging in a safe place for future transport. Recycle all packaging materials properly.
Ensure all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any piece is missing or in bad condition, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. Operation
- Connect the appliance to a mains socket. The grinder enters standby mode, and all display icons flash. The default display value is "888".
- Press the icon to select the ground coffee container filling function. You can customize the function using the ➖ / ➕ icons. Select the desired amount of coffee by measuring it in espresso cups. Then, press the ▶️ icon to start the appliance.
- Press the icon to select the Single Espresso function. The default display value is 8 seconds, adjustable with the ➖ / ➕ icons. Press the ▶️ icon to start.
- Press the x2 icon to select the Double Espresso function. The default display value is 15 seconds, adjustable with the ➖ / ➕ icons. Press the ▶️ icon to start.
- The appliance has a memory function, remembering the last selected function.
- After 15 minutes of inactivity, the appliance enters standby mode, and the Start/Pause icon flashes.
Removing the Coffee Bean Hopper

- Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Hold the grinder body. Turn the hopper counterclockwise until the mark on its bottom aligns with the mark on the body. Then, pull it upwards.

- Ensure there are no coffee residues on the top of the grinding wheel. Clean with the provided brush if necessary.
- Align the mark on the hopper with the mark on the body and turn the hopper clockwise until it locks into place.
NOTE: The grinder will not start if the hopper is not installed.
Adjusting Ground Coffee Thickness

- Place the ground coffee container or portafilter in the holder.
- Open the hopper lid, add coffee beans (Figure 5), and close the lid. You can now adjust the grind degree.
- The grinder has gears to adjust the grind degree. Turn the hopper to adjust it according to your coffee preparation.
- Adjust the grind degree.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the grinding wheel regularly for hygiene and to extend its lifespan.
- Empty the ground coffee container after each use to preserve coffee aroma and prevent deterioration.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the grinder, power cord, or plug in water.
- Do not use strong cleaning agents or abrasive scouring pads.
- To remove the upper gear: hold the upper gear holder, turn the triangle symbol counterclockwise to the "OPEN" position, lift, and clean with a brush (Figure 7).
- Clean coffee residue (Figure 8) from the lower gear and compartment with a brush.
- After cleaning, place the gear back in the compartment. Align the triangle symbol with the "OPEN" position, turn the holder clockwise until it clicks, then align with the "CLOSED" position to complete installation (Figure 9).
NOTE: Remove coffee residue to replace the grinding wheel.
5. Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Causes | Solution |

Takes too long to grind | Adjust grind wheel to coarser levels. | When coffee beans are ground very fine, the grinder absorbs few grams per second. Repeat the process multiple times for a larger quantity of coffee. |
Coffee comes out too thick | Adjust grind wheel to finer levels. | For finer results, adjust to finer levels. Note that results may vary depending on the type of coffee beans used. |

7. Disposal of Old Electrical and Electronic Appliances
