4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Battery Installation

The AMS Modern Wall Clock operates on batteries. Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required batteries (refer to the 'Specifications' section for battery type) ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.3 Mounting the Clock

This wall clock is designed for easy mounting:

  1. Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is sturdy enough to support the clock's weight.
  2. Use a screw or nail (not included) appropriate for your wall type.
  3. Hang the clock securely using the hanging slot on the back of the unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Time

After installing the batteries, the clock will begin to operate. To set the correct time:

  1. Locate the time setting dial or button on the back of the clock.
  2. Rotate the dial or press the button to advance the time until the correct time is displayed by the illuminated words.
  3. The clock will automatically adjust its word display to reflect the set time in five-minute increments.

5.2 Understanding the Word Display

The AMS Modern Wall Clock displays time using illuminated words. The display changes every five minutes. For example, if it is 1:00, the words "ES IST EINS UHR" will illuminate. If it is 1:05, it might show "ES IST FÜNF NACH EINS".
