4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB Type-C cable and a 5V/1A power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.
4.2 App Download and Account Creation
- Scan the QR code in the manual or search for "EseeCloud" in your mobile app store (iOS/Android).
- Download and install the EseeCloud app.
- Open the app and register a new account using your email or phone number.
4.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Open the EseeCloud app, tap '+' to add a new device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code generated by the app with the camera lens.

4.4 Mounting the Camera
The camera offers flexible installation options:
- Flat Surface: Place the camera on any flat surface using its magnetic base.
- Wall Mounting: Use the provided screws and anchors to secure the magnetic base to a wall. The camera can then be easily attached and adjusted.
- Ceiling Hanging: Similar to wall mounting, the magnetic base can be affixed to a ceiling.
Ensure the mounting location provides a clear view and strong Wi-Fi signal.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and Playback
- Open the EseeCloud app and select your camera to view the live feed.
- Tap the playback icon to review recorded footage from your SD card or cloud storage.
5.2 Two-Way Audio
While in live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone.
5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera uses PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detection to identify human movement. You can adjust sensitivity settings and set up notification alerts in the app.

5.4 Working Modes
The camera supports three working modes:
- 24/7 Normal Power Working Mode: Requires continuous power supply via the Type-C cable. The camera records continuously.
- Power Saving Mode: The camera activates and records when motion is detected, then automatically sleeps after 10 seconds of inactivity.
- Battery Low Power Consumption Mode: Similar to power saving mode, the camera activates on motion detection and then enters a deep sleep state to conserve battery.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Charging
The camera is equipped with two 2600mAh (total 5200mAh) rechargeable batteries. When the battery level is low, you will receive an alert via the app. Recharge the camera using the Type-C cable. Battery life varies based on usage and working mode.

6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.3 Firmware Updates
Periodically check the EseeCloud app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
7. Troubleshooting
