Quick and Easy Installation steps for pop up canopy

  1. Step 1: Unfold the Frame. Place the folded steel frame in the desired location. With a partner, gently pull the outer legs of the frame outwards until it begins to expand.
  2. Step 2: Attach the Canopy Top. Carefully place the canopy fabric over the partially expanded frame. Ensure the corners of the canopy align with the frame's corners. Secure the canopy fabric to the frame using the hook and loop fasteners located on the underside of the canopy.
  3. Step 3: Fully Extend and Lock the Frame. Continue to pull the frame outwards until it is fully expanded. Push the quick-release buttons on the frame to lock the truss bars into place.
  4. Step 4: Adjust Height and Secure. Press the buttons on the telescopic legs to extend them to your desired height (adjustable from 8.8′ to 9.4′ in 4″ increments). Once the legs are extended, secure the canopy to the ground. Fill the provided sandbags with sand and attach them to the canopy legs. Use the ground stakes and guy lines to anchor the canopy firmly, especially in light wind conditions. Anchor stakes at an angle between 45° and 60° for optimal stability.

Operating Instructions

Your Yaheetech canopy is designed for versatility and ease of use:

  • Height Adjustment: The canopy's overall height can be adjusted from 8.8 feet to 9.4 feet. Locate the adjustment buttons on each leg and press them to extend or retract the telescopic legs to your desired height. Ensure all four legs are set to the same height for stability.
  • Attaching/Detaching Sidewalls: The four sidewalls are removable. They attach to the canopy frame and to each other using hook and loop fasteners. Two sidewalls feature transparent arched windows, and one has a mid-zip for convenient entry and exit. Attach or detach them as needed for privacy, weather protection, or an open-air setup.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life of your canopy:

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric's protective coating. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: Inspect the steel frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame. If rust appears, clean it and apply a rust-inhibiting paint.
  • Storage: When disassembling the canopy tent, start by separating the hook and loop fasteners that secure the canopy fabric to the frame. Ensure the canopy fabric and frame are completely dry before folding and storing them in the roller bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all fasteners, ropes, and stakes for wear and tear. Replace any damaged components to maintain safety and stability.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your canopy, consider the following:

  • Canopy not standing securely: Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked. Verify that sandbags are filled and attached, and all stakes and guy lines are properly anchored.
  • Difficulty with frame expansion/retraction: Check for any obstructions or debris in the frame joints. Ensure quick-release buttons are fully engaged or disengaged as needed.
  • Water pooling on canopy top: Ensure the canopy fabric is taut and properly secured to the frame. Adjust leg heights if necessary to create proper tension.
