3. Product Overview
The Geevon Wireless Thermometer system consists of a main display unit and three remote sensors. The main unit displays indoor temperature and humidity, along with readings from the three remote sensors. Each remote sensor transmits its local temperature and humidity data wirelessly to the main unit.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The main unit requires 2 AA batteries, and each remote sensor requires 2 AAA batteries (batteries are not included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and each remote sensor.
- Insert batteries according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartments securely.
4.2 Sensor Pairing
The remote sensors should automatically pair with the main unit upon battery installation. If a sensor does not connect:
- Ensure both the main unit and the remote sensor have fresh batteries.
- Press the 'CH/▲' button on the main unit to cycle through channels and ensure it's searching for the correct sensor.
- Press the 'TX' button inside the battery compartment of the remote sensor to manually send a signal.
- Keep the main unit and sensors within close proximity during the initial pairing process.

5. Operation
5.1 Display Readings
The large LCD display shows the indoor temperature and humidity, along with the temperature and humidity for each of the three remote sensors (Channels 1, 2, and 3).
5.2 MAX/MIN Records
The device automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings over the last 24 hours. Press the 'MEM/▼' button to view these records. Pressing it again will cycle through current, maximum, and minimum values.

5.3 Temperature/Humidity Alarm
You can set high and low alarm thresholds for temperature and humidity. If the readings exceed or fall below these thresholds, an audible alarm will sound.
- Press and hold the 'Δ' (Alarm) button to enter alarm setting mode.
- Use the 'MEM/▼' and 'CH/▲' buttons to adjust the desired high and low values for temperature and humidity.
- Press the 'Δ' button again to confirm each setting.
5.4 Comfort Indicator
The main unit displays a comfort level icon (DRY, COMFORT, WET) based on the indoor temperature and humidity readings:
- DRY: Humidity ≤ 40%
- COMFORT: 40% ≤ Humidity ≤ 70% AND 20°C ≤ Temperature ≤ 28°C (68°F ≤ Temperature ≤ 82.4°F)
- WET: Humidity ≥ 70%

5.5 Unit Switching
Press the 'MEM/▼' button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
6. Placement Guidelines
Proper placement of the main unit and remote sensors is crucial for accurate readings and optimal wireless transmission.
6.1 Main Unit Placement
- Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect readings.
- It can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
6.2 Remote Sensor Placement
The remote sensors have a wireless transmission range of up to 60 meters (200 feet) in open air. Obstacles like walls, metal objects, and electronic devices can reduce this range.
- Vertical Orientation: Always place the outdoor sensor vertically to prevent water accumulation and ensure proper drainage.
- Height: Mount sensors 1.2 to 2.4 meters (4 to 8 feet) above the ground.
- Shade and Ventilation: For outdoor use, place sensors in a permanently shaded area with good air circulation to avoid direct sunlight and radiant heat, which can cause inaccurate temperature readings.
- Distance from Electronics: Keep sensors at least 1.5 to 2 meters (5 to 6.5 feet) away from electronic devices such as TVs, computers, microwaves, and other wireless devices to prevent interference.
- Avoid Obstacles: Minimize the number of walls or large metal objects between the remote sensors and the main unit.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the plastic components or the LCD screen.
7.2 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones of the same type. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Blank Screen:
Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity. Replace with fresh batteries if needed. - No Remote Sensor Reading:
Check if the remote sensor has fresh batteries. Ensure the sensor is within the 60m (200ft) transmission range and free from major obstructions. Press the 'TX' button on the sensor and the 'CH/▲' button on the main unit to re-establish connection. - Inaccurate Humidity Reading (Main Unit):
Sometimes, the humidity sensor on the main unit can become less accurate over time due to dust or debris. Gently blow cool air (e.g., from a hairdryer on a cool setting) into the vents of the main unit for a few minutes to clear any obstructions. - Inaccurate Temperature Reading:
Ensure sensors are not in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in drafts. Allow time for the sensors to stabilize after placement. - Interference:
If readings are erratic or connectivity is lost, move the main unit or sensors away from other electronic devices that might cause interference.
