4. Setup

Loosen the side handle grip, adjust the handle to a comfortable and secure position, then tighten the grip firmly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Mode Selection

The rotary hammer features a mode selector switch to choose between different operating modes:

  • Rotary Hammer Mode: For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone with hammering action.
  • Hammer Only Mode: For chiseling and light demolition work (requires chisel bit).
  • Rotary Only Mode: For drilling in wood, metal, and plastics (requires appropriate drill bit and adapter).

Rotate the mode selector to the desired icon before starting the tool.

5.2 Starting and Stopping

  • To start: Press the trigger switch. The tool's speed is variable based on trigger pressure.
  • To stop: Release the trigger switch.

5.3 AUTOSTOP Control

The AUTOSTOP Control system is designed to protect the user by sensing severe bind-up situations and automatically shutting down the tool. If AUTOSTOP activates, release the trigger, clear the bind-up, and then restart the tool.
