Maintenance
- Cleaning the Canopy: Wipe the canopy with a dry cloth as per care instructions. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing.
- Frame Care: The powder-coated steel frame is resistant to rust and corrosion. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, especially during off-season or severe weather, it is recommended to close the umbrella, secure it, and store it in a dry, protected area.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight. Tighten if necessary.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Umbrella is unstable or tips over easily. | Insufficient base weight; uneven surface; strong winds. | Add additional weights (e.g., patio blocks, sandbags) to the cross base. Ensure the umbrella is on a flat, level surface. Close the umbrella in windy conditions. |
| Crank mechanism is stiff or difficult to operate. | Lack of lubrication; debris in mechanism; damaged crank. | Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts. Clean any visible debris. If damaged, contact customer support. |
| Canopy does not open or close fully. | Obstruction; misaligned ribs; damaged cord. | Check for any obstructions. Inspect ribs for bends or damage. If the cord is damaged, contact customer support. |
| Water pooling on canopy. | Canopy not fully taut; heavy rain. | Ensure the umbrella is fully opened and taut. The air vent helps with drainage, but heavy rain may cause some pooling. Close umbrella during heavy downpours. |
