3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Recording Modes
- Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in segments. When the memory card is full, the oldest files are overwritten by new recordings.
- Emergency Recording: Activated by the built-in G-Sensor upon detecting an impact or sudden movement. These files are protected from being overwritten.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Memory Card Management
Regularly format the memory card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can typically be done through the DrivePro App settings or directly on the dash cam's menu. Use high-endurance microSD cards for prolonged reliability.
4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the camera lenses and display screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.
4.3 Firmware Updates
Check the Transcend official website periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your dash cam's firmware up-to-date ensures the best performance, new features, and bug fixes.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- "Memory Card Error": This often indicates a corrupted or faulty memory card. Try formatting the card. If the issue persists, replace the microSD card with a new, high-endurance card.
- Dash Cam Not Turning On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the vehicle's power outlet is functioning. Check the built-in battery charge level.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Verify that the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled and you are selecting the correct network (SSID). Double-check the Wi-Fi password (default is 12345678). Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi is not simultaneously connected to another network that provides internet access, as this can interfere.
- Poor Video Quality: Ensure the lenses are clean. Check the recording resolution settings in the app. If recording at night, ensure night vision features are enabled.
- Rear Camera Not Connecting: Ensure the cable connecting the front and rear cameras is securely plugged in at both ends. If the rear camera indicator light is blinking incorrectly, try power cycling the dash cam by unplugging and re-plugging the power source.
