4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Afloia Air Purifier for the first time.

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging materials, including any plastic bags or protective foam.
  3. Check the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, contact customer support.

4.2 Filter Installation

The filter comes pre-installed but may be wrapped in plastic for protection. Remove the plastic before use.

  1. Turn the air purifier upside down.
  2. Twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Take out the filter assembly. If it's new, remove any plastic packaging from the filter.
  4. Insert the filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

4.3 Placement

For optimal performance, place the air purifier in a location with good air circulation.

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in damp environments.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5.2 Fan Speed / Mode Selection

The air purifier offers three fan speed modes: High, Mid, and Sleep.

  • Press the Fan Speed Button (symbol: fan blades) repeatedly to cycle through the modes: High > Mid > Sleep.
  • In Sleep Mode, the unit operates at its lowest noise level (22dB) and all indicator lights turn off to ensure undisturbed sleep.

5.3 Timer Function

Set the air purifier to operate for a specific duration (2, 4, or 8 hours) before automatically turning off.

  • Press the Timer Button (symbol: clock with arrow) repeatedly to select the desired operating time: 2H > 4H > 8H.
  • The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  • To cancel the timer, press the button until no timer indicator light is on.

5.4 Night Light Function

The air purifier features a 7-color night light for added ambiance.

  • Press the Light Button (symbol: light bulb) to turn the night light on.
  • Press again to cycle through the 7 colors or to set it to automatically cycle through colors.
  • Press a third time to turn the night light off.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the efficiency and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.

6.1 Filter Replacement

The filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage and air quality. A red indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to remove it.
  3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  4. Insert a new Afloia replacement filter (ASIN: B08X2747G4) into the unit.
  5. Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
  6. Plug in the air purifier. To reset the filter replacement indicator, press and hold the Light Button for 3-5 seconds until the red light turns off.

6.2 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
