• Remote control with phone: With the Afloia Home app, you can control your smart air purifier from anywhere.

• Air Purification: The air purifier has a 3-stage filtration system (prefilter, carbon filter and high efficient filter). Improved Filter with larger expansion area and longer length than others.

LET'S STARTED

Unboxing

1. Take the air purifier out of the box and remove the plastic covering surrounding it. Please keep the product box in a safe location for future use.
2. Open the base of the air purifier, take out the filter and remove its plastic packaging.
3. Take the charger out of the filter.

Description of Parts

The air purifier unit consists of the following parts:

• Air Outlet: Located at the top of the unit.
• Control Panel: Located on the top surface for manual operation.
• Light Circle: A visual indicator around the control panel.
• Air Inlet: Located at the bottom of the unit, where air is drawn in.
• Filter: Located inside the main body of the purifier.
• Base: The bottom part of the unit that houses the filter and allows access.
• Charger: The power adapter for the unit, often found inside the filter packaging.

About the Filter

Air Purification

The air purifier utilizes a True HEPA 3-Stage Filter system:

Filter Replacement Cycle

It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-6 months. However, replacement frequency may vary based on usage and air quality. For purchasing filters, visit the Afloia website or contact customer service.

Maintenance

• Ensure the product is unplugged before maintenance.
• Do not immerse the air purifier in water or any liquid.
• Do not use abrasive, corrosive, or flammable cleansers (such as bleach or alcohol) on any part of the unit.
• Do not wash the filter.
• Do not use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter.

Cleaning and Storage

• Ensure the air purifier is powered-off and unplugged.
• Use a soft cloth with a neutral cleanser to clean away dust or debris from the surface, air purifier, and air intake/vent.
• If not in use for an extended period, turn on the air purifier for a few minutes periodically to maintain good performance.
• Do not allow water to enter the air purifier through the air outlet when cleaning.

How to Replace Filter

Notes:

• Please remove the packaging from the filter before using it.
• Ensure the air purifier is unplugged before removing or installing the filter.
• Wipe the dust on the filter regularly; do not wash or use it repeatedly.
• Use only filters designed for this air purifier.

1. Filter Replacement Indicator: When the LED light keeps flashing in red, it signifies the filter needs changing. If it flashes red upon first use, perform the operation method: turn on, press the power button until the red light stops flashing.
2. Accessing the Filter: Invert the machine and rotate the base along the direction marked "OPEN".
3. Removing the Old Filter: Take out the old filter from the air purifier.
4. Preparing the New Filter: Remove the packaging around the new filter.
5. Installing the New Filter: Install the new filter into the machine.
6. Securing the Base: Install the base, rotate and tighten it along the direction marked "CLOSE".

Resetting the Filter Replacement Alert

When the air purifier detects that the filter has reached its saturation value, the LED light flashes red. After replacing the filter, the FILTER REPLACEMENT ALERT needs to be reset. Restart the purifier and keep pressing the power button until the light stops blinking.

Maximum Purification Efficiency

• Keep the unit at least 1 ft (30cm) away from areas where oxygen is being administered.
• To effectively clean air, keep windows and doors closed while the air purifier is operating.
• Keep the inside of the air purifier dry. To prevent moisture buildup, avoid placing it in rooms with significant temperature changes or directly underneath air conditioners.

Names and Functions of Control Panel

The control panel features several functions:

• Light Indicator: Displays operational status.
• Fan Speed Button: Allows selection of fan speed modes: High, Mid, Low/Sleep.
• Timer Button: Sets the operating timer. Available in the app for 24 hours with 1-hour increments (1h-24h). On the panel, 4H and 8H timing are available. If the timer indicator is switched off, the air purifier will work continuously.
• Wi-Fi Indicator: Turns on, off, or blinks to indicate pairing status.
• On/Off Button: Powers the unit on or off. A long press resets the filter replacement alert after a new filter is installed.
• Light Control Button: Turns the LED light on, off, or sets it to flashing mode. In Sleep mode (L mode), the light automatically turns off. Pressing the light button again turns it back on.

When the air purifier connects to the power outlet, it will beep once, and the lamp will turn on for 1 second then turn off, indicating it is powered on.

Connect the Power

• Please confirm the input voltage is 100-240V 50/60Hz. Ensure your hands are dry before inserting the power cord plug into the outlet.
• Note: Contact Customer Service if the power cord, plug, or power outlet is damaged or loose.
• To replace a damaged power cord or plug, visit the Afloia website and contact service@afloia.com.
• Keep the air purifier away from water, wet, or damp areas.
• Do not use in excessively humid areas.
• Keep the air purifier away from heat sources.
• Do not use where combustible gases, vapors, metallic dust, aerosol products, or fumes from industrial oil are present.

Troubleshooting

If your device is not working correctly, please consult the following measures. For persistent issues, contact Afloia Customer Service Centers.

If these suggestions do not work accordingly, please contact Afloia customer service and await instructions. Do not disassemble, repair, or fix anything by yourself.

Afloia Home App Setup

1. To download the Afloia Home app, scan the QR code or search "Afloia Home" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the Afloia Home app. Log In or Sign Up.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to set up your smart air purifier.

A QR code is provided for downloading the Afloia Home app.

Connect with your phone

The device can be automatically connected within two minutes after Wi-Fi is turned on.

1. Turn on the air purifier and hold the Wi-Fi indicator for 5 seconds; the indicator will blink fast, which means Wi-Fi of the machine is turned on.
2. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of your mobile device, open the Afloia Home APP within two minutes, then the device will be automatically detected. Enter Wi-Fi password to finish the connection.

If successful, the Wi-Fi indicator stays on; otherwise, the indicator keeps blinking.

Turn to manual connection if auto connection fails after Wi-Fi has been on for 2 minutes

Step 1: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks fast: Make sure your mobile device's Wi-Fi is ON. Open Afloia Home APP, click to add Device → Add manually → Small home appliances → Air purifier (WI-FI). Operate according to the APP prompts.

(Note: Only available for 2.4G network. Please switch to 2.4G network if currently under 5G.)

Step 2: If the connection is still unsuccessful after following Step 1, please hold the Wi-Fi indicator for another 5 seconds. Then the Wi-Fi indicator will blink slow: Make sure your mobile device's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are ON. Open Afloia Home APP, click to add Device → Add manually → Small home appliances → Air purifier (Bluetooth+Wi-Fi). Operate according to the APP prompts.

Note on Wi-Fi Indicator Status

• On & no blinking: Successful connection.
• Blinking fast: Wi-Fi of the air purifier is turned on.
• Blinking slow: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of the air purifier are turned on.
• Off: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of the air purifier are turned off.

You can switch between these states by holding the Wi-Fi indicator for 5 seconds.

The Wi-Fi indicator will not blink while the machine is powered on or turned on. The connection will be cut off when power or network becomes off. Please restart to connect your device and the air purifier after the power and network are restored.

APP Connection FAQ

• Q1: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks slow, a message is displayed showing that the Smartlife network cannot be connected or found.
• A: It may be slow to connect to Afloia Home App on mobiles for the first time. Please exit the App and reconnect, which should be finished within 2 minutes.
• Q2: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks slow, password is needed for the connection to Smartlife.
• A: Click Settings on your device, go to “Afloia Home”, find the Local Network and switch it on.
• Q3: It is slow to add devices when the indicator blinks fast.
• A: Please exit the App and try again. Please use a faster network, or switch to another connect mode (See Step 2 of manual connection on Page 9).
• Q4: Why is my air purifier not working as instructed?
• A: Please ensure that the machine is normally connected to the power supply and stable network connection.

With More Devices

Please use "Share Device" if connecting with more devices is needed. The same KILOPLUS can be shared to a number of mobile devices.

Step 1: When connecting the device with the first phone (refer to "Connect with Your Phone" steps).

Step 2 & 3: Navigate through the app to "Share Device" to share control with other mobile devices.

Set Up Your Schedule (Auto Switch)

You can set a fixed time every day to turn on/off the machine.

Steps: Setting → Schedule → Add → Save.

If a timer is still activated after removal or change, please reset the timer to update cloud APP data, or remove the air purifier from the APP, add it again, and reset a timer.

Customize Your Smart Life

Go to the "Smart" page and click "+" or "Create Scene" of "Automation" to start creating one-click execution commands and smart settings.

• Set the operation mode of KILOPLUS according to weather changes, which is very worry-free and convenient.
• If the scene does not work as set, please remove the air purifier from the APP and add it again first, and then retry to create a scene.

Quickly bind Alexa

Voice control: The KILOPLUS is compatible with Amazon Alexa, so you can use your air purifier without having to lift a finger.

Step 1, 2, 3: Follow the on-screen instructions within the Afloia Home app and the Alexa app to link your Afloia account with Alexa for voice control.

Caution

We recommend replacing the filter every 3-6 months. However, you may need to change your filters sooner or later depending on use frequency and air quality. For buying more filters, please visit the Afloia website and contact Afloia customer service.

Safety Instructions

• Ensure the product is unplugged before maintenance, cleaning, or moving the device, or changing the filter. Risk of injury due to electric shock.
• Do not immerse the air purifier into water or any liquid.
• Do not use abrasive, corrosive, or flammable cleansers (such as bleach or alcohol) to clean any part of the unit.
• Do not block the air intake or outlet.
• Do not use any spray cans with flammable contents near the air purifier.
• Do not use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter.
• Use a soft cloth with a neutral cleanser to clean away any dust or debris from the surface of the air purifier and air intake/vent.
• If you do not use it for a long time, turn on the air purifier for a few minutes from time to time to ensure a good performance.
• Do not use the device near a smoke detector. Air blowing towards a smoke detector could delay the alarm or not trigger at all.
• Only use the air purifier in living quarters and within the specified technical parameters.
• Do not expose the air purifier to direct sunlight, a naked flame, or heat.

Inquiry about Malfunction

Product parts may wear out due to heat, moisture, dust, and other causes over time, which may cause malfunction of the product.

In the case that:

• Something other than the symptoms coming under “Troubleshooting” occurs.
• You can feel electricity when you touch the product with your hands.
• The power is supplied, but the fan does not work.
• Other malfunctions occur.
