Let's Get Started

Unboxing

Take the air purifier out of the box and remove any surrounding plastic covering. Keep the product box in a safe location for future use.
Open the base of the air purifier, take out the filter, and remove its plastic packaging.
Take the charger out of the filter.

About the Filter

Air Purification

The air purifier uses a 3-stage filter system:

Stage	Filter Type
Stage 1	Pre Filter
Stage 2	High Efficient Filter

Filter Replacement Cycle

It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-6 months. This may vary depending on usage frequency and air quality. For purchasing replacement filters, please visit the Afloia website or contact Afloia customer service.

Maintenance

Ensure the product is unplugged before performing any maintenance.
Do not immerse the air purifier in water or any liquid.
Do not use abrasive, corrosive, or flammable cleansers (like bleach or alcohol) on any part of the unit.
Do not wash the filter.
Do not use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter.

Cleaning and Storage

Ensure the air purifier is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
Use a soft cloth with a neutral cleanser to remove dust or debris from the surface, air purifier, and air intake/vent.
If the unit will not be used for an extended period, turn it on for a few minutes periodically to maintain good performance.
Avoid getting water into the air purifier's air outlet when cleaning.

How to Replace Filter

Note:

Please remove the filter packaging before use.
Ensure the air purifier is unplugged before removing or installing the filter.
Wipe dust off the filter regularly; do not wash or reuse it.
Only use filters designed for this specific air purifier.

Filter Change Indicator: When the LED light flashes red, it indicates the filter needs changing. It flashes red on first use. To reset: turn on the purifier and press the power button until the red light stops flashing.

Control Panel and Operation

Resetting the Filter Replacement Alert

After replacing the filter, the FILTER REPLACEMENT ALERT needs to be reset. Restart the purifier and press and hold the power button until the light stops blinking.

Maximum Purification Efficiency

Maintain a clearance of at least 1 ft (30cm) from where oxygen is being administered.
For effective cleaning, keep windows and doors closed while the air purifier is operating.
Keep the interior of the air purifier dry to prevent moisture buildup. Avoid placing it in rooms with significant temperature fluctuations or directly under air conditioners.

Names and Functions of Control Panel

The control panel features:

Light Indicator: Controls the ambient light.
Fan Speed Button: Selects fan speed (High, Middle, Sleep).
Timer Button: Sets operating time. Available in the app (1-24 hours) and on the panel (4/8 hours). If the timer indicator is off, the purifier runs continuously.
Wi-Fi Indicator: Shows Wi-Fi pairing status (on, off, or blinking).
On/Off Button: Powers the unit on or off.

Note: When connected to power, the unit will beep once, and the power lamp will turn on for 1 second then off, indicating it is powered on.

Button Description

On/Off: Long press to reset the filter replacement alert after changing the filter.
Fan Speed Button: Selects mode: High, Mid, Low/Sleep.
Timer Button: In APP: 24h available, 1-hour increments (1h-2h-...-24h). In Panel: 4/8H timing available. (Note: If the timer indicator is off, the air purifier will work continuously.)
Wi-Fi Indicator: Turns on, off, or blinks to indicate pairing status.
Light Control Button: Turns the light on, off, or sets it to flashing mode. In 'L' (sleep) mode, the light automatically turns off. Click the light button again to turn it back on.

Connect the Power

Confirm the input voltage is 100-240V 50/60Hz. Ensure your hands are dry before plugging the power cord into the outlet.
Note: Contact Customer Service if the power cord, plug, or outlet is damaged or loose. To replace a damaged power cord or plug, visit the Afloia website and contact service@afloia.com.
Keep the air purifier away from water and wet or damp areas.
Do not use in excessively humid areas.
Keep the air purifier away from heat sources.
Do not use in environments where combustible gases, vapors, metallic dust, aerosol products, or fumes from industrial oil are present.

Troubleshooting

If your device is not working as expected, please refer to the following measures. If problems persist, contact Customer Service.

Problem	Checklist	Recommendation
No charger in the box	Did you check the filter?	Please open the bottom cover of the air purifier, take out the filter, and retrieve the charger.
No charger in the box	Are you in a blackout?	Check the power supply.
The product won't work even if I press the Power button.	Is the power cord plugged into the power outlet?	Put the power plug into a power outlet.
The product won't work even if I press the Power button.	Is there material blocking the intake or air vent?	Remove material from vent/intake. Check if plastic packaging has been removed from the filter.
No air is blowing out.	Is the air purifier placed where the intake is blocked, preventing air from moving freely?	Remove objects blocking the air purifier or place it elsewhere.
No air is blowing out.	Air purifier is on but fan does not work.	Unplug from the wall and contact Afloia customer service: service@afloia.com.
Loud Noises	Has the plastic bag of the filter been removed?	Remove the plastic bag of the filter before using the air purifier.
	Is there anything stuck in the fan or air intake/vent?	Please remove any objects you see from the fan intake/vent.
	Is the air purifier tilted on its side?	Make sure the base is level on a flat surface.
Is the fan really loud?	Set your air purifier to a lower fan speed to reduce the noise.
Coming out nasty smell	Has the plastic bag of the filter been removed?	Remove plastic bag of filter before using the air purifier.
	Is the air purifier in a place with a lot of smoke and odor?	The performance may decrease over time in areas with excessive smoke and odor. Air out the room before using the purifier.
	Should I clean or replace my filter?	Check the filter replacement indicator and clean or replace the filter if necessary.
Do you smell plastic?	It is common for a plastic smell to be emitted during the first uses. It will eventually go away. If not, contact service@afloia.com.
Is there a burning smell?	Turn off your air purifier, unplug it from the wall, and contact service@afloia.com.
The air purifier is not purifying the area well.	The air purifier may be placed in an area with no ventilation, or there is an obstacle near it.	Ventilate the room and use the product in an area within its coverage limit. Avoid placing it near doors or windows where ventilation is excessive.
	Is there any dust in the pre-filter?	Wipe the Pre-Filter.
	Are there any objects blocking the air intake/vent?	Please remove any objects from the intake/vent.
The filter replacement alert is still blinking after I changed the filter.	Have you removed the filter from its packaging?	The plastic bag of the filter may not have been removed. Open the cover and check if the plastic bag is removed.
	Is the filter dusty? Maybe it is time to replace the filter.	Change the filter if it looks like it needs to be replaced.
Is intake/vent dusty?	Clean the air vent/intake.
Have you reset the filter change button?	Turn on the power button and keep pressing it until the red light disappears.

Note: If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, please contact Afloia customer service. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the product yourself.

Afloia Home App Integration

Afloia Home App Setup

Download the Afloia Home app by scanning the QR code or searching "Afloia Home" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the Afloia Home app and log in or sign up.
Follow the in-app instructions to set up your smart air purifier.

Connect with your phone

The device can automatically connect within two minutes after Wi-Fi is turned on.

Turn on the air purifier and hold the Wi-Fi indicator for 5 seconds. The indicator will blink fast, signifying that the machine's Wi-Fi is active.
Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your mobile device. Open the Afloia Home app within two minutes. The device should be automatically detected. Enter the Wi-Fi password to complete the connection.

If successful, the Wi-Fi indicator will remain solid. If not, it will continue blinking.

Manual Connection (if auto-connection fails after 2 minutes)

Step 1: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks fast:

Ensure your mobile device's Wi-Fi is ON.
Open the Afloia Home APP, click "Add Device", then "Add Manually".
Select "Small home appliances" > "air purifier (Wi-Fi)" and follow the app prompts.

(Note: This feature is only available for 2.4G networks. Please switch to a 2.4G network if you are currently on 5G.)

Step 2: If the connection is still unsuccessful after Step 1, hold the Wi-Fi indicator for another 5 seconds until it blinks slow:

Ensure your mobile device's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are ON.
Open the Afloia Home APP, click "Add Device", then "Add Manually".
Select "Small home appliances" > "air purifier (Bluetooth+Wi-Fi)" and follow the app prompts.

Wi-Fi Indicator Status Meanings:

On & no blinking: Successful connection.
Blinking fast: Wi-Fi of the air purifier is turned on.
Blinking slow: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of the air purifier are turned on.
Off: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of the air purifier are turned off.

You can switch between these states by holding the Wi-Fi indicator for 5 seconds.

Note: The Wi-Fi indicator will not blink when the machine is powered on or turned on. The connection will be lost if power or network is interrupted. Restart to reconnect after power and network are restored.

APP Connection FAQ

Q1: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks slow, a message indicates the Smartlife network cannot be connected or found.: A: It may take a moment to connect to the Afloia Home App for the first time. Please exit the App and reconnect; it should finish within 2 minutes.
Q2: When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks slow, a password is required for the connection.: A: On your device, go to Settings, find "Afloia Home", then "Local Network", and switch it on.
Q3: It is slow to add devices when the indicator blinks fast.: A: Please exit the App and try again. Use a faster network or switch to another connection mode (See Step 2 of manual connection on Page 9).
Q4: Why is my air purifier not working as instructed?: A: Please ensure the machine is properly connected to the power supply and has a stable network connection.

Advanced Features

With More Devices

Use the "Share Device" feature if you need to connect with multiple devices. The same KILOPLUS unit can be shared with several mobile devices.

Step 1: Connect the device with the first phone (refer to "Connect with your phone" steps).

Step 2 & 3: In the app, navigate to share the device.

Set Up Your Schedule (Auto Switch)

You can set a fixed time for the machine to turn on/off daily.

Steps: Setting → Schedule → Add → Save.

If a timer needs activation after removal or change, reset the timer to update cloud APP data, or remove and re-add the air purifier from the APP, then reset the timer.

Customize Your Smart Life

Go to the "Smart" page and click "+" or "Create Scene" under "Automation" to create one-click execution commands and smart settings.

Set the operation mode of KILOPLUS according to weather changes for convenience.

If a scene does not work as set, remove the air purifier from the APP, add it again, and then retry creating the scene.

Quickly Bind Alexa

Voice Control: The KILOPLUS is compatible with Amazon Alexa, allowing you to use your air purifier with voice commands.

Steps to Link Afloia Home with Alexa:

Open the Afloia Home app.
Navigate to services or linked accounts.
Select Alexa and follow the prompts to link your Afloia account with Alexa.
