Assembly
The Shark S7001 Steam & Scrub Mop requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to set up your mop:
- Insert the handle into the main body of the mop until it clicks securely into place.
- Attach the Dirt Grip Soft Scrub pads to the bottom of the mop head. Ensure they are centered and firmly attached.
- Wrap the power cord around the cord hooks for organized storage until ready for use.

Operating Instructions
1. Filling the Water Tank:
- Ensure the mop is unplugged.
- Open the water tank cap.
- Use the provided filling flask to pour distilled or demineralized water into the tank. Do not overfill.
- Close the water tank cap securely.
2. Powering On and Selecting Steam Mode:
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the mop.
- Select your desired steam mode (Light, Normal, or Deep) using the mode selection button. The mop will begin to heat up and produce steam.

3. Cleaning Your Floors:
- Allow the mop to preheat for approximately 30 seconds until steam is consistently produced.
- Gently guide the mop across your sealed hard floors. The rotating pads will do the scrubbing work.
- For tough stains, select the Deep mode and hold the mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.
- The LED headlights will illuminate debris, ensuring no spot is missed.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Dirt Grip Pads:
- After each use, allow the mop to cool down.
- Remove the Dirt Grip pads from the mop head.
- The pads are machine washable. Wash them separately with liquid detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
- Tumble dry on a low setting or air dry.

2. Storing the Mop:
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wrap the power cord neatly around the cord hooks.
- Store the mop in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
