4.2 Filling the Dispenser

  1. Remove the top lid of the transparent liquid chamber.
  2. Pour your desired liquid soap (hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, body wash, or lotion) into the chamber. Do not overfill. The capacity is 17 fl.oz. (500ml).
  3. Replace the top lid securely.

4.3 Wall Mounting

The dispenser can be mounted using either adhesive glue or screws.

Adhesive Mounting (Recommended for smooth surfaces):

  1. Clean and dry the desired wall surface thoroughly.
  2. Apply the provided adhesive glue to the back of the mounting plate.
  3. Press the mounting plate firmly against the wall in the desired location.
  4. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24-48 hours before attaching the dispenser unit. This ensures a strong bond.
  5. Slide the dispenser unit onto the mounted plate until it clicks into place.

Screw Mounting (Recommended for uneven or porous surfaces):

  1. Hold the mounting plate against the wall at the desired height and mark the screw hole positions with a pencil.
  2. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. If mounting into drywall, insert the expansion screws.
  3. Align the mounting plate with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Slide the dispenser unit onto the mounted plate until it clicks into place.

Important Installation Distance:

Ensure a minimum clearance from the bottom of the dispenser to the countertop or reflective surface. For normal desktops, maintain at least 10 inches (25cm). For reflective desktops, maintain at least 13.8 inches (35cm) to ensure proper sensor function.

The dispenser offers 3 adjustable dispense volume settings: 0.9ml, 2.0ml, and 3.1ml. To change the volume, press the power button located on the top of the unit. Each press will cycle through the dispense settings, indicated by a light or sound cue (refer to the 'Using Guide' for specific indicators).

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Refilling

When the liquid level in the transparent chamber is low, refill it by removing the top lid and pouring in more liquid soap. Avoid letting the dispenser run completely dry to prevent air from entering the pump mechanism.

6.2 Cleaning

The AIKE AK1212 dispenser has an IPX7 waterproof rating, making it resistant to water splashes and temporary immersion. To clean the exterior:

  • Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before cleaning.
