Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch.
  2. Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the battery compartment.
  3. Insert the battery firmly into place.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely.

2. SIM Card Installation

  1. With the back cover and battery removed, locate the SIM card slots. The Itel it2173 supports dual SIM cards.
  2. Carefully insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down, following the orientation indicated on the phone.
  3. Ensure the SIM card is fully seated.

3. Memory Card Installation (Optional)

  1. Locate the memory card slot, usually adjacent to the SIM card slots.
  2. Insert a microSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.

4. Charging the Device

  1. Connect the charger to the charging port on your phone.
  2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  3. The battery indicator on the screen will show the charging status.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call key until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call key until the power off options appear, then select "Power off".

2. Basic Navigation

  • Use the navigation keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) to move through menus.
  • Press the Center/OK key to select an option.
  • Press the Left Soft key to access options or confirm.
  • Press the Right Soft key to go back or cancel.

3. Making and Receiving Calls

  • Making a Call: Enter the phone number using the keypad and press the Call key (green button).
  • Receiving a Call: When a call comes in, press the Call key (green button) to answer. Press the End Call key (red button) to reject or end a call.

4. Messaging

  • Navigate to the "Messages" menu.
  • Select "Write message" to compose a new SMS.
  • Enter the recipient's number and type your message using the keypad.
  • Press the "Send" option.

5. Kingvoice Feature

The Kingvoice feature provides voice assistance for various functions. To activate or use Kingvoice, refer to the specific menu option in your phone's settings or dedicated Kingvoice shortcut, if available.

6. Wireless FM

The phone supports Wireless FM radio. To use it, navigate to the FM Radio application in the multimedia menu. You do not need to connect headphones to listen to the radio.

7. Torch Light

To activate the built-in LED torch light, typically press and hold a dedicated key (often the center navigation key or a specific number key) or find the torch option in the tools menu.

8. Camera Usage

The phone is equipped with a rear camera. To take photos:

  1. Go to the "Camera" application from the main menu.
  2. Frame your shot using the display.
