2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the basket and pan with warm soapy water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space on the back and sides, and 10 cm above the appliance.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Preheating (Optional)
While the Midea Air Fryer's HeatXpress technology often eliminates the need for preheating, you may choose to preheat for certain recipes or desired crispiness.
- Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
- Adjust the temperature and time manually (e.g., 180°C for 3-5 minutes).
- Press the start button to begin preheating.
5.2. Cooking with Pre-programmed Functions
The air fryer comes with 8 one-touch pre-programmed functions for common dishes:

- Place food in the air fryer basket. Do not overfill.
- Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
- Select the desired pre-programmed function by tapping its icon on the LED touch screen. The default time and temperature for that function will display.
- Press the start button to begin cooking.
- The air fryer may beep during cooking to remind you to shake or flip food for even results.
- Once cooking is complete, the appliance will beep and automatically shut off.
5.3. Manual Cooking
- Place food in the air fryer basket.
- Press the power button.
- Use the temperature control buttons (+/-) to set the desired temperature (35-200°C).
- Use the time control buttons (+/-) to set the desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes).
- Press the start button to begin cooking.
5.4. Shake Reminder
For certain foods, the air fryer will emit a beep during the cooking cycle to remind you to shake the basket. This ensures even cooking and crispiness. Carefully remove the basket, shake the contents, and reinsert the basket to resume cooking.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Basket and Pan: The removable non-stick basket and pan are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a damp cloth.
- Heating Element: Use a cleaning brush to remove any food residue from the heating element.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are dry before storing the appliance. The wire winding handle allows for neat cord storage.
