Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case provides multiple recharges for the earbuds.

1. Place the earbuds into their respective slots in the charging case. Ensure they are seated correctly.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The LED indicators on the charging case will illuminate to show charging status. Refer to the case for specific LED behavior.
4. A full charge for the case takes approximately 3 hours.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The earbuds feature automatic pairing and syncing.

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for available devices. You should see "Maxell Jelleez" or a similar name appear in the list.
5. Select the earbuds to connect. Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt, and the earbud indicator lights will change.
6. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000" (four zeros).

Note: After the initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when removed from the case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

• Water Resistance: The earbuds have an IPX4 sweat resistance rating, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. Do not submerge them in water or expose them to heavy rain. Dry them thoroughly after exposure to sweat or light moisture.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To preserve battery life, avoid fully discharging the earbuds and case frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not used for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Maxell Jelleez Earbuds, try the following steps:

• No Sound:
  • Ensure earbuds are charged.
  • Check Bluetooth connection on your device. Try re-pairing.
  • Adjust volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Try playing audio from a different application or source.
• Earbuds Not Pairing:
  • Ensure both earbuds are out of the case and powered on.
  • Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
  • Forget the device ("Maxell Jelleez") from your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • Ensure earbuds are fully charged.
  • Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
• Charging Issues:
  • Check if the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
  • Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
  • Ensure the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
• One Earbud Not Working:
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then take them out again.
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Try resetting the earbuds (refer to specific product guide for reset procedure if available).
