4. Controls and Features
Familiarize yourself with the control panel and various ports on your NDS-1533 unit.

Control Panel Layout:
- Power Switch: Turns the unit ON or OFF.

5. Setup Guide
5.1. Powering On and Charging
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate while charging. The unit can be used while charging.
- Flip the Power Switch to the "ON" position to turn on the unit.
5.2. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the NDS-1533 unit. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing "BLUE" on the LED display and an audible prompt.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for "NAXA NDS-1533" in your device's Bluetooth settings.
- Select "NAXA NDS-1533" to pair. Once connected, the LED display will show a solid "BLUE" and you will hear a confirmation sound.
- You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the NDS-1533.
5.3. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Connection
TWS allows you to connect two NDS-1533 units wirelessly for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both NDS-1533 units are powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
- On one of the units (this will be your primary unit), press and hold the "TWS" button (if available, otherwise refer to the manual for TWS pairing instructions, typically a long press of the Mode button or a dedicated TWS button). The unit will search for another NDS-1533.
- Once connected, both units will indicate a successful TWS pairing (e.g., a solid "BLUE" on both displays, or a specific TWS indicator).
- Connect your mobile device to the primary NDS-1533 unit via Bluetooth as described in section 5.2.
- Audio will now play in stereo across both connected units.
5.4. Microphone Connection
- Insert the plug of the wired microphone into the "MIC IN" jack on the control panel.
- Adjust the "MIC VOL" knob to control the microphone's volume.
- Use the "ECHO" knob to add an echo effect to your voice.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Mode Selection
Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available input sources:
- Bluetooth Mode: For wireless audio streaming.
- USB Mode: For playing audio files from a USB flash drive. Insert the USB drive into the USB port.
- SD Card Mode: For playing audio files from an SD memory card. Insert the SD card into the SD card slot.
- AUX Mode: For connecting external audio devices via a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port.
- FM Radio Mode: For listening to FM radio stations.
6.2. Audio Playback
- Volume Control: Rotate the main VOLUME knob to increase or decrease the overall sound output.
- Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback.
- Track Navigation: Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to skip between tracks (in Bluetooth, USB, or SD modes) or change radio stations (in FM mode).
6.3. Disco Light Operation
The NDS-1533 features an integrated disco light system.
- Locate the LED LIGHT switch on the control panel.
- Flip the switch to "ON" to activate the disco lights.
- Flip the switch to "OFF" to turn off the disco lights.

7. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, turn it off and unplug it from the power source. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: The unit contains a Lithium Ion battery. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the unit regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat or direct flame.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
