The Victor M241 Electronic Rat and Mouse Trap is designed for effective rodent control indoors. It delivers a high-voltage shock to humanely eliminate rodents. The trap features a removable kill chamber for no-touch disposal and an LED indicator for status alerts.

Setup Instructions

  1. Insert Batteries:

    Open the battery compartment located on the underside of the trap. Insert four (4) "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.

  2. Apply Bait:

    Open the removable lid of the trap. Place a small amount of high-protein bait (e.g., peanut butter, hazelnut spread) into the designated bait cup at the back of the trap. Avoid getting bait on the metal plates to ensure proper operation.

  3. Close Trap and Power On:

    Close the trap lid securely. Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top of the trap and slide it to the "ON" position. A green LED light will blink once to indicate the trap is active and the batteries are good.

  4. Placement:

    Place the trap along a wall in areas where rodent activity has been observed. Rodents tend to travel along walls. Ensure the trap entrance is facing the wall.

Operating Instructions

Rodent Detection and Elimination:

The trap's smart circuit technology detects when a rodent enters and steps on the electrified plates. A high-voltage shock is then delivered for two minutes to ensure effective elimination.

  1. When a green light blinks, indicating a catch, slide the ON/OFF switch to "OFF".
  2. Remove the lid of the trap.
  3. Tilt the trap over a waste bin to release the rodent without direct contact.
  4. Close the lid and reset the trap by sliding the ON/OFF switch to "ON".
