Victor VLINK Smart Rodent Trap: Your Quick Start Guide

The Victor VLINK system offers an advanced solution for rodent control, providing smart technology to monitor and manage traps remotely. This guide outlines the essential steps to get your Victor VLINK traps operational.

Getting Started

1. Account Setup: Ensure you have a VLINK account created and access granted by an administrator. Verify login at www.vlinkhq.com.
2. Gateway Connection: Plug in the VLINK gateway. Connect it to your local network via an Ethernet cable if applicable. Refer to the gateway's manual for detailed instructions.

Using the VLINK Mobile App

1. Download the Victor VLINK app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Log in using your VLINK account credentials.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to connect your trap.

Baiting Your Trap

Paste Baits: Place paste bait securely in the bait cup to prevent easy removal by rodents. Avoid placing bait directly on the trigger pedal, which can cause false triggers.

Tied Baits: Secure desired bait to the raised Victor V attachment point, orienting it towards the center of the trap pedal.

Connecting the Trap to the Network

To set the trap:

1. Hold the back of the trap and place thumbs on the grips.
2. Pull the kill bar back until it clicks into the easy-set latch.
3. Observe the LED light sequences on the back left corner of the trap for status indication (Green: Set & Powered; Yellow: Disengaged; Red: Set & Low Battery; Blue: Network Communication).

Note: The trap must be level for successful setting and operation.

Placement and Resetting

Once connected, place the trap in areas of rodent activity. The app will alert you to captures.

After a capture, record the event in the VLINK Mobile App. Remove the rodent, then reset the kill bar by pulling it back to the set position. Wait for the green and blue LED flashes to confirm communication and readiness.
