Setup
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
- Battery Backup (Optional): For power outage protection, insert one 9V battery (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the clock. This will retain time and alarm settings during a power interruption, though the display will go blank.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Time
- Press and hold the TIME button located on the front panel. The hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator to ensure correct AM/PM setting.
- Continue holding the TIME button and press the MINUTE button repeatedly to advance the minute.
- Release the TIME button to set the current time.
Setting the Alarm
- Press and hold the ALARM button located on the front panel. The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the ALARM button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- Continue holding the ALARM button and press the MINUTE button repeatedly to set the alarm minute.
- Release the ALARM button to set the alarm time.
Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To turn the alarm ON, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. An alarm indicator light will appear on the display.
- To turn the alarm OFF, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. The alarm indicator light will disappear.
Using the Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE bar on the front of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
- The snooze function can be pressed repeatedly until the alarm is manually switched off.
Using the Night Light
- To turn the night light ON, slide the NIGHTLIGHT ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The top panel of the clock will illuminate.
- To turn the night light OFF, slide the NIGHTLIGHT ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Battery Replacement: If using battery backup, replace the 9V battery annually or when the clock fails to retain settings during a power outage. Ensure proper polarity when inserting the new battery.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and remove the battery. Store in a cool, dry place.
