5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
- Ensure the desired plates are correctly installed and the appliance is closed.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (240V). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the appliance is pre-heating.
- Allow the waffle maker to pre-heat completely. The indicator light will turn off or change color (depending on the model) when the appliance has reached the optimal cooking temperature and is ready for use. This typically takes a few minutes.
- For best results, lightly grease the plates with cooking spray or a small amount of oil before each use, especially for the first batch.
5.2 Using Waffle Plates
- Once the waffle maker is pre-heated, open the lid.
- Pour your waffle batter evenly onto the lower waffle plate, filling the grids without overfilling.
- Carefully close the lid. Do not force it shut.
- Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and cooked to your desired crispness. Cooking time may vary based on batter consistency and personal preference.
- Open the lid and carefully remove the cooked waffles using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensil. Avoid using metal utensils, which can damage the non-stick coating.

5.4 Using Muffin Plates
- Ensure the heart-shaped muffin plates are installed and the appliance is pre-heated.
- Lightly grease the muffin molds.
- Spoon muffin batter into each mold, filling approximately two-thirds full.
- Close the lid and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the muffins are fully cooked and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove cooked muffins with a non-metal utensil.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Plates: The interchangeable plates are easily removable and dishwasher-safe. For manual cleaning, wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing or re-installing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the RockStone non-stick coating.
- Cleaning the Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the waffle maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the main unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, store the waffle maker with the plates installed or separately in a dry, safe place. The compact design allows for easy storage.
