Tips
- When using precooked sandwiches or waffles, make sure they fit in the non-stock plates or cut them in such way that they do.
- Use only butter or ordinary margarine when preparing precooked sandwiches or waffles, as synthetic or low-fat spreads tend to overheat at lower temperatures and form dark brown deposits which could stick to the non-stick plates.
- Precooked sandwiches and waffles must be buttered on the outside, unlike conventional ones.
- Use heat-proof gloves and utensils when using this device.

Unplug the sandwich maker and allow it to cool down before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when it is slightly warm.
