Setup and Installation

To set up your Philips Hue Smart Play Light Bar Extension, you will need an existing Philips Hue Bridge and a Play light bar base kit with a power supply. The light bar can be positioned horizontally, vertically, or mounted to surfaces like the back of a TV.

Initial Connection

1. Ensure your Philips Hue Bridge is set up and connected to your home network.
2. Connect the Play light bar extension to the power supply unit from your existing Play base kit. Ensure sufficient room for other devices if connecting multiple light bars.
3. Download the Philips Hue app from the App Store or Google Play if you haven't already.
4. Open the Philips Hue app and follow the on-screen instructions to discover and add your new Play light bar.

Placement Options

• TV/Movie Sync: Lights can sync in real-time to the content on your TV screen, extending the visual experience beyond the display.
• Gaming Sync: Achieve total gaming immersion by syncing lights with your video games. Philips Hue lights can also sync with Razer Chroma LED accessories and Corsair iCUE products.
• Music Sync: Sync your Hue lights with music when paired with your Spotify account or by using Samsung SmartThings in the Galaxy smartphone app.

Troubleshooting

• Light Bar Not Responding:
  • Check if the light bar is properly connected to the power supply unit.
  • Ensure the power supply unit is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Verify that the Philips Hue Bridge is powered on and connected to your network.

• Cannot Discover Light Bar in App:
