Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your VANMASS Car Phone Mount.
- Cleaning the Suction Cup: If the suction cup loses its stickiness, rinse it with warm water and allow it to air dry completely. Do not wipe it with a cloth, as this can leave lint.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Temperature Resistance: The mount is constructed from durable materials designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -40℉ to 194℉ (-40℃ to 90℃). However, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight in extreme heat may affect the suction cup's longevity over time.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VANMASS Car Phone Mount, please refer to the common solutions below. For more detailed assistance, consult the official Troubleshooting Guide (PDF).
- Suction Cup Not Sticking:
- Ensure the mounting surface (dashboard or windshield) is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils. Use the provided wipe.
- Make sure the locking lever is fully engaged after pressing the suction cup firmly onto the surface.
- If the suction cup has lost stickiness, rinse it with warm water and air dry it completely before re-applying.
- Avoid textured or porous surfaces, as the suction cup requires a smooth, flat area for optimal adhesion.
- Phone Not Holding Securely:
- Ensure the phone is properly seated in the cradle and the clamping arms have fully closed around it.
- Verify that the release button is not partially depressed, which could prevent the arms from clamping tightly.
- Vent Clip Loose:
- Ensure the vent clip is fully engaged with the air vent blade. The lever on the clip should be in the locked position.
- Confirm that your vehicle's vent blades are compatible (horizontal/vertical, not round or unusually shaped).
