2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Component Check
Before proceeding with setup, ensure all components are present:
- 1 x Receiver Unit
- 5 x Call Buttons
- 1 x Power Adapter for Receiver
- 1 x Screwdriver (for call button battery access)
- Number Stickers (for button identification)
- Screws and Anchors (for mounting)
2.2 Receiver Installation
- Connect the power adapter to the receiver's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Extend the antenna on the receiver for optimal signal reception.
- Position the receiver in a central location within the desired coverage area, away from large metal objects or other sources of interference.
2.3 Call Button Installation
Call buttons come with pre-installed 12V 23A alkaline batteries. They can be installed using two methods:
- Adhesive Mounting: Use the provided adhesive stickers to attach buttons to flat, clean surfaces such as walls or bed frames.
- Lanyard Use: Attach a lanyard (not included) through the designated loop on the call button for wearable use.
2.4 Pairing and Programming
The system typically comes pre-paired. If re-pairing or adding new buttons, follow these general steps. Refer to the detailed instructions manual for specific button sequences.
- Enter programming mode on the receiver (usually by pressing a 'SET' or 'FUN' button).
- Press the call button you wish to pair. The receiver should register the button.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Operation
To initiate a call, simply press the 'CALL' button on any of the wireless transmitters. The receiver will then display the corresponding call number and announce it verbally.

- Digital Display: Shows the number of the calling button.
- Voice Announcement: Verbally announces the calling number.
- Adjustable Announcements: The number of voice announcements can be set to repeat multiple times.
- Adjustable Display Time: The duration for which the call number stays on the display can be configured.
- Volume Control: The receiver offers 8 levels of volume adjustment.
3.3 Expanding the System
The CallToU Wireless Caregiver Pager System is expandable and can pair with up to 1000 call buttons. Additional receivers can also be added to cover larger areas or multiple monitoring stations.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Call Button Battery Replacement
Each call button uses a 12V 23A alkaline battery. When the button's signal weakens or it stops functioning, the battery may need replacement.
- Use the included small screwdriver to carefully open the call button casing.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new 12V 23A alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the casing securely.

4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the receiver and call buttons with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the device openings. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
