5. Setup

6.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control

The radio supports FM, AM (MW), and SW bands. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception, especially for FM and SW bands.

  1. Press the FM, AM, or SW button to select the desired radio band. The display will show the current frequency.
  2. Automatic Scan and Store: Press the SCAN button. The radio will automatically scan for available stations and store them in memory. Up to 99 stations can be stored per band.
  3. Recalling Stored Stations: Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly enter the memory number of a stored station, or use the / buttons to navigate through stored stations.
  4. Manual Station Management: The "Memory/Delete" button allows you to manually store or delete stations after an automatic scan. Consult the on-screen prompts for specific actions.

6.3 MP3 Playback (USB/Micro SD)

The radio can play MP3 audio files from a USB flash drive or a Micro SD/TF card.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a Micro SD/TF card into the TF CARD slot.
  2. The radio should automatically switch to MP3 mode. If not, press the MP3 button.
  3. Use the / buttons to skip tracks.
  4. Use the ❚❚ button to pause/play.
  5. The numeric keypad can be used to directly select track numbers if supported by the firmware.

Connect external audio devices, such as smartphones or MP3 players, using the AUX input.

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your external device's headphone jack to the AUX port on the radio.
  2. Press the AUX button (if available, or cycle through modes until AUX is selected).
  3. Control playback and volume from your external device. The radio's volume control will also affect the output.
