1. Introduction and Overview
The HEATKILLER® Tube Series is a modular line of high-end reservoirs designed for PC water cooling systems. This series features a borosilicate glass tube, known for its high chemical and thermal resistance, scratch resistance, and low heat expansion. The design prioritizes efficient use of internal volume, contributing to reduced maintenance requirements.
Key features include a large filling mouth and a bayonet catch lid, allowing for tool-free opening and easy refilling of cooling medium. The reservoir is compatible with D5 pumps, utilizing a streaming-optimized pump chamber.

2. Safety Information
- Ensure all power to the computer system is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
- Handle the borosilicate glass tube with care to prevent damage, although it is highly durable.
- Use only approved coolants for PC water cooling systems.
- Verify all connections are secure and leak-free before powering on the system.
- Keep out of reach of children.
3. Package Contents
Please verify that all components are present in the package:
- 1x HEATKILLER® Tube 150 D5 Reservoir
- 1x Instruction Manual
4. Setup and Installation
The HEATKILLER® Tube 150 D5 is designed for flexible installation within a PC case.
4.1. Pump Installation
The reservoir includes a pump adapter specifically designed for D5 pumps. Carefully align and secure your D5 pump into the designated pump chamber. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks.
4.2. Mounting Options
Several mounting options are available to integrate the reservoir into your system:
- Case Floor Mounting: Two different height pedestals are provided for mounting the reservoir directly to the case floor.
- Vertical Mounting: A multifunctional bracket mount offers options for vertical installation.
- Radiator Slot Mounting: Adapters are available (sold separately) to attach the reservoir to 120x120mm or 140x140mm cooler slots.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Filling the Reservoir
To fill the reservoir, simply open the bayonet catch lid. This tool-free design allows for easy access. Pour the cooling medium slowly into the large filling mouth until the desired level is reached. Avoid overfilling. Securely close the lid after filling.

5.2. System Operation
Once the reservoir is filled and all connections are secure, the water cooling system can be powered on. Monitor the coolant level and system for any leaks during initial operation. The large capacity of the HEATKILLER® Tube 150 D5 contributes to less frequent refilling.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
The borosilicate glass tube is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. For routine cleaning, drain the system and wipe the interior with a soft, lint-free cloth. For more thorough cleaning, the reservoir can be disassembled by opening the bayonet catch lid and removing the components. Use only non-abrasive cleaning agents suitable for borosilicate glass and POM materials.
6.2. Refilling Coolant
Periodically check the coolant level. If the level is low, refill the reservoir as described in Section 5.1. The design of the HEATKILLER® Tube Series minimizes the need for frequent refills due to its optimized volume utilization.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides general guidance for common issues. For specific problems, consult a qualified technician or the manufacturer's support.
- Leaks: If leaks occur, immediately power down the system. Inspect all fittings and connections for proper tightening. Ensure O-rings and seals are correctly seated and undamaged.
- Pump Not Operating: Verify the D5 pump is correctly installed and receiving power. Check all power connections and ensure the pump is properly seated in its adapter.
- Low Coolant Flow: Ensure the reservoir is adequately filled. Check for any obstructions in the loop or issues with the pump.
