- CONNECT TO FAN HUB: Port for connecting to the fan hub.
Diagrams illustrate the layout of these connectors on the MO-RA LINK unit, showing connections to the motherboard/fan control, power supply, and fan hub.
3. PC Side Connections
3.1 Standard
This configuration connects the MO-RA IV Passive Control unit directly to the PC's motherboard and power supply.
The setup involves:
- A MAIN CABLE (SKU 63200) connecting the MO-RA LINK unit to the motherboard's fan control headers.
- An LED SYNC CABLE (SKU 63100) for RGB lighting synchronization.
- PUMP PWM TACHO (SKU 63130) and FAN PWM TACHO (SKU 63130) cables for pump and fan speed control, respectively, connecting to appropriate motherboard headers.
- A 12V PCIe 6-pin cable from the power supply providing power to the MO-RA LINK unit.
Diagrams illustrate the routing of these cables from the MO-RA LINK unit to the motherboard and power supply.
3.2 Optional - With PCI Slot Adapter
This optional setup uses a PCI slot adapter for routing the main connection cable.
The configuration includes:
- The MAIN CABLE connecting the MO-RA LINK unit.
- A SLOT ADAPTER that interfaces with a PCI slot in the computer.
- The adapter then connects to the main cable, allowing the MO-RA LINK unit to be controlled from an external PCI slot.
Diagrams show the connection path via the slot adapter.
4. Radiator Side Connections
4.1 On MO-RA IV 200/400
This section details connecting fans to the MO-RA IV 200/400 radiator.
The setup involves:
- A FAN HUB CABLE 340 (SKU 63205) connecting the MO-RA LINK unit to a fan hub.
- Two FAN 210 (SKU 63210) units are connected to the fan hub.
- The fan hub provides connections for multiple fans, with indicators for RPM SIGNAL LEFT and RPM SIGNAL RIGHT, allowing individual fan speed monitoring.
Diagrams illustrate the fan hub and fan connections to the radiator.
4.2 On MO-RA IV 600
This section details connecting fans to the MO-RA IV 600 radiator.
The setup involves:
- A FAN HUB CABLE 340 (SKU 63205) connecting the MO-RA LINK unit to the first fan hub.
- A FAN HUB CABLE 170 (SKU 63204) connects the first fan hub to a second fan hub.
- Four FAN 210 (SKU 63210) units are connected across the two fan hubs.
- Each fan hub supports multiple fans and indicates RPM SIGNAL LEFT and RPM SIGNAL RIGHT for speed monitoring.
