Components and Controls

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Carefully open the battery compartment cover (a small flat screwdriver may be needed).
- Insert the provided 1200mAh rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals match the markings).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the radio's battery.
- Connect the provided USB cable to the mini USB charging port on the right side of the radio.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a DC5V/500mA-1A USB adapter, computer USB port, car charger, or power bank.
- The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to the radio's display or indicator light for details).
- Charging is complete when the indicator changes or turns off.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the top side of the radio to turn the device on or off.
2. Radio Mode (AM/FM)
- Switching Modes: Press the MODE button on the front panel to cycle between FM, AM, and MP3 modes.
- Auto Scan and Store: Long-press the Play/Pause button (middle button in the top row of the keypad). The radio will automatically scan for all available stations and store them in numerical order. Note: The order of stored stations cannot be changed manually.
- Direct Frequency Entry: Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly enter a desired frequency. For example, to tune to 98.5 FM, press 9-8-5.
- Navigate Stored Stations: Use the Previous Track (|<<) and Next Track (>>|) buttons to cycle through the automatically stored stations.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the volume wheel on the top side of the radio to adjust the sound level.
- Antenna Adjustment: Extend and adjust the telescopic antenna for optimal radio reception.
3. MP3 Playback
The radio supports MP3 audio files from Micro SD/TF cards and USB flash drives. Ensure your audio files are in MP3 format and your storage device is formatted to FAT32.
- Insert Storage: Insert a Micro SD/TF card into the slot on the bottom side, or a USB flash drive into the full-size USB port on the right side.
- Switch to MP3 Mode: Press the MODE button until the display indicates MP3 mode. The radio should automatically start playing MP3 files if a compatible device is inserted.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause playback.
- Previous/Next Track: Use the Previous Track (|<<) and Next Track (>>|) buttons to skip between tracks.
