Care and Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Casio LA20WH watch is water-resistant. This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or prolonged water exposure. Avoid operating buttons while the watch is wet.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn stains, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 CR2 battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the "Setting Time and Date" instructions. Ensure the correct 12-hour or 24-hour format is selected.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not wet. If the issue persists, a reset may be required (refer to full manual if available) or contact customer support.
- Alarm does not sound: Check if the alarm is set to ON in the Alarm Mode. Ensure the volume is not muted if applicable (this model does not have volume control, but general advice).
