GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Although the watch is equipped with an shock-resistant mechanism, avoid subjecting it to strong impacts or dropping it on hard surfaces.
  • Do not overtighten the bracelet. A finger should be able to fit under the bracelet.
  • Clean the watch and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth or one dampened with a mild soap solution. Do not use volatile chemical solvents (such as benzine, solvents, aerosol cleaners, etc.).
  • Always store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
  • Do not expose the watch to aggressive chemicals such as benzine, cleaning agents, aerosols. Chemical reactions with such agents can damage the gasket, case, and polish.
  • Some watch bracelets have their specifications printed on them. Exercise caution when cleaning such bracelets to avoid erasing them.
  • For watches equipped with plastic bracelets...
    • You may notice a white powdery residue on the bracelet. This substance is not harmful to your skin or clothing and can be removed by wiping the bracelet with a cloth.
    • If moisture is left on a plastic bracelet, or if such watches are kept in a humid environment, the bracelet may warp, crack, or tear. To preserve the plastic bracelet, wipe off dirt or moisture with a soft cloth as soon as possible.
  • For watches with fluorescent bracelets and cases...
    • Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescence color to fade.
    • Prolonged contact with moisture can cause the fluorescence color to fade. Wipe moisture from the surface as soon as possible.
    • Prolonged contact with other wet surfaces can cause the fluorescence color to fade. Wipe moisture from the fluorescent surface as soon as possible and stop the unwanted contact with other surfaces.
    • Strong friction of a surface with a printed fluorescent pattern against another surface can cause the printed color to transfer to the other surface.

AUTO-LIGHT FUNCTION

When the auto-light function is enabled, the watch illuminates automatically for a few seconds each time your hand is positioned as shown in the figure below. The watch is not designed to be worn on the inside of the wrist, as accidental activation of the auto-light may occur when not needed, shortening battery life. Hold your hand parallel to the ground, and turn the watch towards you by approximately 40 degrees to activate the backlight. * The backlight may not illuminate if the watch face is tilted more than 15 degrees from parallel to the left or right. Ensure your hand is parallel to the ground.

* Static electricity or magnetic forces can interfere with the proper operation of the auto-light. If the auto-light does not activate, try returning the watch to its original position (parallel to the ground) and turn it towards you again. If this does not help, shake your hand downwards vigorously and try turning the watch again to activate the backlight. * It is possible for the backlight activation to be delayed by up to 1 second after turning your hand. This is not an indication of malfunction.

Turning Auto-Light On and Off

In Current Time Mode, press and hold the 'C' button for one or two seconds to turn the auto-light function on or off.

* The auto-light indicator appears on the display in all modes when the auto-light function is enabled. * To protect the battery from rapid depletion, the auto-light function automatically turns off for approximately 2 hours after use. If you wish to use the backlight again, repeat the activation procedure. * In any mode, press the 'L' button to illuminate the display for 2 seconds, regardless of whether auto-light is enabled.

Warning!

  • Never attempt to use the watch at high altitudes, in dark excursions, or when in unstable positions. This is risky and may lead to an accident.
  • Never attempt to use your watch while running along the side of a road or in other places where there may be automotive or pedestrian traffic. This is risky and may lead to an accident.
  • Never attempt to use the watch while riding a bicycle, motorcycle, or other similar motorized transport. This is risky and may lead to a traffic accident or personal injury.
  • When wearing the watch, always ensure the auto-light is turned off before riding a bicycle, motorcycle, or other motorized transport. Sudden, unintentional activation of the auto-light may distract you, which could lead to an accident.
